But is there life in the Broadway Gaming platform still? The good news is that there does seem to be some green shoots emerging.
The Fall £1500
One of the good things about Wink Bingo and co, back in the day, was that they loved jackpot games as well as deposit bonus codes. Sadly we don't have any deposit bonus codes but there is a new jackpot game to tell you about. It's called The Fall £1500 and, despite the Americanism, you'll gather that it's an Autumn Special. The Fall £1500 will play at 9pm on the 30th November. Tickets are available to pre-buy now and cost 25p each. Note that to access the room you need to have a real money balanace of more than 25p! It's a 90 ball game so there are prizes for one line, two line and a full house. Interestingly the split of the prizes is full house heavy with just £50 for 1L, £150 for 2L and £1300 for the full house winner. That's quite unusual to see as £1500 pots are often split along the lines of £200, £300 and £1000. This game isn't exclusive to Wink and you'll be able to access it via any Dragonfish/Broadway Gaming site including Moon, Costa and Sing.
Friday Fun Day
It's also good to see Wink Bingo looking to generate a bit more of a buzz! This Friday for example it's Friday Fun Day. This, like The Fall Room, is a special room that offers a jackpot game. It takes place at 9pm but is a 75 ball game with £220 for the full house. There are no line prizes but 1TG and 2TG players will bag a share of £20 and £10 respectively. Tickets are available now to pre-buy and cost 10p each. A player can purchase a maximum of 96 tickets for this game. The game will take place on the 8th November but it's not clear whether it's a one off or whether it's a regular part of the schedule. Again it's not exclusive to Wink so you'll be facing off against other players entering the room via other Broadway Gaming brands. As well as these two rooms you can also enjoy bingo in Easy Peasy, Top Of The Shop, Bingo Deal, The YOYO, Flip It and Mystery Jackpot. Free bingo games take place regularly in On The House.
A Step In The Right Direction?
It's good to see these Friday Fun Day and The Fall jackpot games taking place on Broadway Gaming brands. Hopefully they're the start of some more regular jackpot promotions across the platform and not just one offs that are soon forgotten about. Bingo as an online product does feel like it's stagnating and/or being shoved aside for slots. Even Tombola who have always been bingo first seem fixated in becoming a slots destination now. Broadway Gaming, and pretty much every other platform, need to address this but it is difficult. Broadway Gaming will know slots are the top ticket product but most of their brands are bingo orienatated. A few jackpot games however isn't going to re-energise players to either product but it's a start. Online bingo does need a catalyst and perhaps resurgent Dragonfish/Broadway Gaming brands could be the boost it needs heading into 2025.
