What Is 75 Ball Bingo? And How Do I Play?

As well as 90 ball bingo many UK bingo sites offer 75 ball bingo games. This is the version of bingo that is more associated with The USA and it is often called pattern bingo. 75 ball bingo cards consists of 24 numbers contained in a 5 x 5 grid. The 25th space, given as the middle square, is designated a free space. Each column represents a letter and 15 numbers - B (1 to 15), I (16 to 30), N (31 to 45), G (46 to 60) and O (61 to 75). As in 90 ball bingo the aim is to be the first player to get a full house. The big difference between 75 and 90 ball bingo is that the former allows different patterns to come in to play. Patterns can be anything from just the four corners, to shapes of letters, and shapes of numbers. Seasonal variations for things such as Halloween (pumpkin, witch's hat) and Christmas (baubles, snowball) are also quite popular. Although there are over 300 pattern combos that can be used, the most popular remains the coverall pattern.

What Is 75 Ball 5 Line Bingo?

The coverall pattern is when you need to cross off all the numbers on your card in order to win the full house. In 2011 some bingo sites, including those on the Dragonfish platform introduced 5 Line Bingo or Swedish Bingo. This 75 ball game offers players the chance to win up to five times during a game by offering prizes for one line, two lines, three lines, four lines and the full house. Apparently there's strategy associated with bingo card selection and types of patterns that are better to play in 75 ball games. This would be useful if 75 ball games were as popular as 90 ball games. In our experience the 75 ball bingo rooms tend not to attract as many players as the 90 ball rooms. With that in mind it's perhaps no surprise that there are less variations on the 75 ball game compared to other ball numbers. That said the 75 ball version of Deal Or No Deal Bingo has survived across Virtue Fusion Network brands for numerous years so some versions obviously work.
