Foxy Launch Charity Bingo For Wood Green

Over the years Foxy Bingo have been involved in a number of different charity games. For example they've supported Breast Cancer Awareness Campaigns by hosting special bingo promotions. They're now hoping for similar success with another wave of charity bingo games. This time Foxy is supporting the Wood Green animal charity and 100% of profits from selected games go to this good cause.

Foxy Bingo's Charity games run every Thursday and Saturday between 8pm and 9pm. As a player all you need to do is rock up on mobile, tablet, desktop or app and login to the special Charity Bingo Room. The games in that room play as usual although note that tickets are 20p each. The charity aspect of the games doesn't effect the prizes on offer. However the only difference is that any profits made by Foxy get passed on to Wood Green.
Making A Difference
Wood Green describe themselves as a pet charity "that makes a difference to the lives of pets and people across the UK". They take in and look after unwanted pets with the aim to rehome them. In addition they're on hand to offer advice, support and guidance to pet owners. It's a wonderful cause and it's lovely to see Foxy Bingo running these games to help raise much needed funds. Let's hope the games are a great success.
One thing that we will be keeping an eye out for is any updates regarding how much is raised. Whilst charity bingo games are a lovely concept we do feel that not enough information is given back to players. In previous years sites like Charity Bingo and Bingo Giving popped up to help raise funds for selected good causes. A noble pursuit that was let down by lack of updates and how much was being given where.
Charity Bingo Sites
Other sites such as Give Back Bingo and Pink Ribbon Bingo are also part of the charity scene. They're a little bit better in providing updates, but even so there's not enough of them. Give Back for example last informed their userbase, via the blog, about their latest donation for February 2019. And February was also the last time there was an update from Pink Ribbon. In fact Pink Ribbon no longer seem to advertise that they donate money every month from their games?
To be honest we thought that Pink Ribbon had actually closed down. A similar site, Tickety Boo Games, closed their doors a few years ago. Their aim was to help raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer care but unfortunately the site never took off. We expect Foxy's integrated charity games will prove to be a success - but let's hope that they remember to update everyone about how much is being raised and demonstrate the money is going to the good cause.
