Foxy Bingo Review

Foxy Bingo are one of the biggest names in online bingo and they're not afraid to push the boundaries. Having initially been endorsed by Jordan, aka Katie Price, they have become more well known for their own foxy character and being the sponsor brand of The Jeremy Kyle show. In 2017, the brand revamped itself and hired Heather Graham to be "foxy". More recently they've switched to the regenerated Cozy Games platform for the next stage of their online bingo journey.

Introducing Foxy Bingo

When Foxy first moved to the Cozy Games platform, along with Cheeky and Think, we did wonder how things would pan out. GVC who own the brands plus who had acquired the Cozy software quickly set out to improve things with better slots and promotions. However whilst many old Cozy sites were closed down - including Think Bingo - Foxy underwent a transformation. New bingo rooms were added and the brand returned to the days of "Foxy" rather than the Heather Locklear disaster.

Foxy Bingo Welcome Offer

New players to Foxy Bingo are offered a choice of two welcome offers. Bingo players who deposit and wager £10 will receive a £40 bingo bonus. Slot players can receive a £30 slots bonus instead. Wagering terms will apply and these are x4 for bingo and x20 for slots. Whilst there's no no deposit bingo offers at Foxy, there is an option for new players to enjoy some free games. Once you've made an intial £10 deposit and wagered it you'll have access to the Foxy Cubs room for 7 days. This Newbies Room offers the chance to win more than £375 a day. All the games are free or bonus plays as they are called. Prizes are paid out in cash and withdrawal terms apply.

Foxy Bingo Rooms

As well as Foxy Cubs, you will find a number of other rooms at Foxy Bingo. These cover 30 (Dirty Gertie), 75 (Foxy Love & Foxy Hideaway), 80 (80 Matey) and 90 ball bingo (Foxy's Fabulous, Forever Foxy). Some of these are exclusive whilst others are shared with brands still on the Cozy platform including the recent addition of Coral. We suspect that in time only GVC owned brands like Coral, Foxy and Ladbrokes will use this set-up. There are themed bingo rooms at Foxy and these include Friends Bingo and the recently launched Cash Out Bingo. These two rooms show that Foxy intend to be competitive with Virtue Fusion sites. To further underline this intent Foxy have added their own versions of Fluffy Favourites Bingo and Deal Or No Deal Bingo to their roster.

Foxy Slots

Slots have risen in popularity and before moving from Dragonfish Foxy added Foxy Casino to it's stable. This has since closed and become Foxy Games. That doesn't mean the bingo doesn't have any slots. In fact there are plenty of good games on the bingo site including Fluffy Favourites, Monopoly Megaways, Deal or No Deal, The Price Is Right, Friends and many more. In truth the slots on Foxy Bingo negate the need for the sister brand and we'd not be surprised if one day Foxy Games is dropped. Sadly, exclusive games from the old Dragonfish days such as TOWIE slots and Foxy's World didn't make the transition to Entain. However Foxy's Jackpots - must drop progressives - are part of the new site. Winner Takes All, Go Dutch and Foxy's Sharer must all be won won within set parameters. These jackpots are shared by other brands on the network.

Foxy Bingo Promotions

On Dragonfish Foxy was ahead of the curve with promotions and exclusives. Over the years they've supported Mum Of The Year, sponsored Rugby League and given away fabulous prizes. Since the Locklear days things haven't quite been up to the same standard although the new platform has some decent promos. At time of writing players could enjoy sliding jackpots, daily free to play games and Wheel Of Wins. Foxy does continue to utilise social media. In recent times they've offered merchandise as prizes and encouraged players to vote on new bingo calls. Amongst the new calls that are being proposed are Wills & Kate (88), Gluten Free (83), Brunch For Two (52) and Netflix & Chill (14). It's good to see that Facebook is still being used by Foxy and that community remains at the heart of the brand.

Our Verdict

There's no doubt that Foxy Bingo is one of the biggest names in UK online bingo. They have always been innovative in their approach. In truth we've not always been happy with how they've treated affiliates and it's hard to overlook their treatment of them in 2017. The move to the new platform did raise a few eyebrows and we're still unsure whether it was the best move. However it does seem GVC are working hard to establish a platform that can be competitive with Dragonfish and Playtech. The launch of Cash Out Bingo is an exciting and innovative game whilst Friends Bingo is a nice addition to the roster. The promotions at Foxy aren't as good as the olden days but they're still better than many other brands offer. From a player perspective it's hard to overlook what's on offer from Foxy.
