Heart Bingo Leave Pragmatic Play For Playtech

Just when you think online bingo doesn't have any more surprises left then another big surprise comes along. This one is in the shape of Heart Bingo who have changed platform yet again. Back in 2021 the brand left the seemingly happy home that was powered by Gamesys (now Bally) for the unknown delights care of Pragmatic Play. Since that move they've been joined by other brands on that platform including PlayOJO and Bet365. Bet365 opted to leave Virtue Fusion/Playtech to try something new so it's with some irony that Heart Bingo have now relaunched on the Playtech set-up. The transition has been quite subtle and without too much of a fanfare. Joining them in their new home is BetVictor Bingo, which probably makes little odds to anyone.
What's New At Heart Bingo
When you visit Heart Bingo you probably won't initially notice many differences. The homepage still shows the welcome offer, the bingo rooms you can play at and a whole bunch of slots. It's only until you login and see all the bingo rooms that things have completely changed. Bingo rooms such as Animingo, Diamond Dazzle, Bingo Blast and Reels Bingo have all gone whilst Playtech staples like Fluffy Favourites, Clover Rollover and Deal Or No Deal feature alongside networked classic 75 ball and 90 ball rooms. There's also a newbie room and a free bingo room. It's unclear whether Heart Bingo will have standalone or exclusive rooms but we suspect that will happen as the partnership develops. The lobby area by the way is a lot different to what you might see at Sun Bingo, Buzz Bingo and others. It's a massive improvement and some thing we anticipate will be rolled out across the network in the coming months.
What's New At Heart Bingo
In terms of promos there's a lot more scope with respect to big jackpots and network offers. Our Verdict
This is a good move for Heart Bingo and for Playtech. Heart are back on an established network with great bingo rooms, chat facilities and exciting promotions. Playtech have picked up a well known brand to boost their player numbers and liquidity. In recent times they've lost Bet365 to Pragmatic Play and Gala to Entain whilst other brands - we're looking at you William Hill, Paddy Power and Betfair - have been less enthused with their bingo channels of late. So this could be seen as quite a coup. The big loser is Pragmatic Play who have seen their star signing head off to a rival. They still have PlayOJO, Bet365 and Jumpman Gaming in their stable but they also have a Heart shaped hole which will be hard to fill. From an affiliate point of view we're hoping to see better things from Heart Bingo because quite frankly they've been shockingly bad for us since leaving Gamesys. Anyway it'll be interesting to see how Heart Bingo settles into their new home - will they win best new bingo site for 2025 just because they've switched platform for example? And what happens with Pragmatic Play's bingo product? Will we see more brands transfer in or will those that are left jump ship and try their luck elsewhere?
