Heart Bingo Love Their Winner Spinner Wheels

Wheels! Login to various bingo or slots brands and you may well find that they have a winner spinner type of promotion. Gala Bingo have a Daily Spin game, Buzz Bingo run regular promotions using wheels and Mecca have one available to play daily for free throughout the summer. Other brands such as many of those on Jumpman and Broadway Gaming (formerly Dragonfish) use wheels as part of their welcome offers. However one brand seems to have gone wheely wheely crazy. If you logged into Heart Bingo today then you'll have the option to spin not one, not two, and not even three winner spinners. In fact they have NINE of them! Yes that's right there are nine different wheels, which to be fair seems a bit of an overkill.
Smokin BBQ Wheel
One of the winner spinners that stands out from the crowded promotions page os the Smokin BBQ Wheel. This is a short term promo that is available to players until the 4th June 2023. What we like about this particular wheel, which is being offered to celebrate National BBQ week, is that it offers players the chance to win tangible prizes. To qualify for a spin you need to opt-in and wager £10 on bingo on the same day. Once qualified you can then take a spin for the chance to win Free Spins, Bonuses, Cash and Love2Shop Vouchers. If you win free spins then the spin values are £0.09 per spin on the Hot Chilli Slot Game whilst the bingo bonuses can only be used on bingo. Spin bonuses can only be used on selected games. Whilst a Love2Shop voucher isn't a bad prize we would have liked Heart to offer some kind of cool gas BBQ package or perhaps a meat hamper. Free Springtime Wheel
Of all the wheels that you could potentially spin at Heart Bingo there's actually only one or two that are free to play. All the others require you to opt-in and wager first. One of the free games is the Free Springtime Wheel is available from 12am to 11.59pm each day and no deposit is needed to play. Simply login and spin the wheel via the promos page. By spinning you could win Free Tickets, Free Spins and up to £5 cash every day. Note that free spins can be played on the Gold Train Slot Game, whilst any Free Tickets that you may win can be used in the exclusive Heart Bonanza Bingo Room. Note that Gold Train is a 3 reel 3 payline slot and although it's nice to win free spins for the game, it's a tough one to win anything on. Additionally the Springtime Wheel (which surely must be about to become the Summertime Wheel?) does have a lose segment so you're not guaranteed to win everytime you spin. Heart Feel Good Wheels
Amongst the other games you can find at Heart Bingo are three Feel Good Wheels. The Free Feel Good Friday Wheel is, as you'd expect, only available on a Friday and is similar to the game above. It's free to play and gives you the chance to win spins on Gold Train as well as a bingo bonus. Joining the free version is Feel Good Weekender and Feel Good Super Weekender. Both these games are available across the Friday to Sunday period but you need to wager in order to qualify for a spin. Play at least £20 on the same day for a Feel Good Weekender play or wager at least £100, again across the same day, for the Super Weekender version. Note that wagering needs to be on slots. Both wheels offer spins and cash prizes with the high roller version offering the chance to win up to £500. Other wheels include The Olly Murs' Daily Wheel for slot players and The Bubble Wild Wheel where bingo and slot players can qualify to play. Too Many Wheels?
Whilst it's great seeing a bingo brand offering so many different promotions, especially as so many have none of note, we do think that Heart may have gone a little overboard with the winner spinner mechanic. It's almost as though the promotions team have sat down for some brain-storming and at the end of each segment the conclusion was "let's do a winner spinner". Which is fine until you realise every promotion is a winner spinner. Still it's a minor point and it's still better than the 'nothing' that gets served up on other brands. It's nice to see two free play wheels in action too although we would love the free spins to apply to a better game. Gold Train just feels way to old school one armed bandit in it's play and with little to no chance of scooping a win. At least with multi-payline slots such as Megaways you might walk away with a few pennies.
