We're not 100% certain that the Winner's Wheel room is brand new to the Gala Bingo roster. However it's something we don't recall seeing before and there doesn't seem to be an equivalent room at Foxy, Coral or Ladbrokes. We couldn't find anything mentioning the room on Gala's social media and the only reference to winners and wheels on other bingo sites is in respect to the site's daily free to play games. It could be that Gala are trialling the room before expanding it across the platform or it's been there for ages and not many people have noticed it. Anyway what is the Winner's Wheel Bingo Room and how does it differ from any other bingo game? Winner's Wheel is basically a 90 ball game with an added feature at the end. There are no points for guessing what that feature actually is! If you thought anything other than a wheel then you've not passed the test.

The Winner's Wheel Bonus Round

The Winner's Wheel Bingo Room is incredibly dull. It simply consists of a bunch of bingo cards on a blue background. Gala Bingo could have perhaps jazzed things up a bit with a winning wheel background or even something that gives you an indication you're in a bingo room with a feature. In short it's a basic 90 ball bingo game in a basic 90 ball bingo room. Tickets cost 5p to 10p each and you can max-out to 90 tickets on each game. Pre-buy is available too. The game plays as usual with one line, two lines and full house prizes. At the end of the game the full house winner is invited to spin The Winner's Wheel for the chance to win an additional prize. After spinning the wheel the full house winner will be rewarded with either a cash prize, bingo bonus, or free tickets. Some games may include a ‘no win’ segment and all prizes are generated randomly. Pre-buy players that win a full house but aren't online are still award the Winner's Wheel Bonus Round but the play is automatic.

Bingo Prize Drops

Another feature of the Winner's Wheel Bingo Room is that it's part of Bingo Prize Drops. These are three prize drops available and these are awarded at random to players in selected bingo rooms. Bingo Drops can be awarded in Coronation Street Bingo, Emmerdale, The Chase, DOND 90 and Slingo Bingo amongst other options. They work very much in the same way as Jackpot Drops that are popular with slots. Bingo Prize Drop 1 is for 20 bingo tickets and this is awarded every 15 minutes.
