Go Go Live Bingo Launches At Buzz Bingo

Quite possibly the biggest innovation in online bingo during 2022, and perhaps covering a few years before that, was Buzz Bingo's new Live Bingo sessions. During these sessions Buzz have presenters like Roger, Devin and Charles, getting involved with the actual bingo games as they play, calling the numbers and also interacting with players. The live product is described as "the closest thing you'll get to being in a bingo club without actually being there". One of the key issues with respect to a live product is how players react to it. Will they embrace and give it credibility or will they shy away from it meaning that it's back to the drawing board for operators desperate to break the live bingo nut. The good news for Buzz is that things are going well. So well in fact that Go Go Live Bingo has now launched on the platform.
What Is Go Go Live Bingo?
Go Go Live Bingo is Buzz's Live Bingo but in the afternoon! According to Buzz the session is here due to "huge demand" and "countless requests" from the community. Therefore Live Bingo will now be available in the Go Go Room daily. Initially it will be open from midday to 2pm every day between the 16th January and 12th February 2023. We suspect that if the room is a success then Buzz will happily expand on these dates. Anyway the Go Go Bingo Room is the home of 80 ball games at Buzz and each game gives you the chance to win 1 of 4 prizes - one line, two lines, three lines and the full house. In addition you could win an extra £5, £25 or £100 on top of the full house prize (should you be a winner) via the Bonus Board. The Bonus Board is a community ticket along the lines of the mechanic adopted by The X Factor Bingo, Coronation Street Bingo and Friends Bingo. Players get £5 if the full house call is marked off the community ticket, £25 if a line is completed or £100 for the bonus board full house.
Lucky Colours
As well as The Bonus Board there's another in-game feature during Go Go Live Bingo. At the start of a game a random colour (red, yellow, white or blue) will be chosen. These colours relate to the bingo calls on the 80 ball bingo card. During the game if any of the 1L, 2L, 3L or FH prizes are won on the selected Lucky Colour then an additional prize is awarded to those winners. We dropped in to see how Go Go Live Bingo was fairing on it's launch date and was pleased to see that the room was really active. Devin was in the driving seat and commentating on the games as well as chatting with players. The Bonus Board is clearly shown on the live stream video and we presume this stays in play day to day until it's won - as opposed to being reset at the start of each session. One thing we'd like to see is either chat comments added at the bottom of the video or the "xyz player has joined the room" filtered out so that it's easier to see the chat that's going on. Overall it was good fun and we can see this becoming as popular as the evening live sessions too. Devin most certainly enjoyed things and described the first day as "an absolute blast".
Must Bingo Jackpots
Must win jackpots are a big feature on slots and bingo brands these days. You can't go anywhere without seeing Daily Drops, Hourly Jackpots or similar. Buzz Bingo have their own version of these kind of prizes and they're cleverly called Must Bin-Go Jackpots. These exciting jackpots play on selected games in the Club Room and Buzz Bingo Blast Room. Look for the 'Go' icon to find them! There are five different jackpots and these include the Hourly where £10 must be won every hour, Daily where £100 must be won every day and Weekly where £250 must be won each week. These are joined by a Monthly Jackpot with at least £5000 in the pot plus The Big One which is a progressive that keeps growing to at least £50K. These jackpots add an extra bit of spice to proceedings although you never really know when they're going to drop. The only clues really are if the prizes haven't dropped and it's getting close to the end of the hour, day or week. To find indicators to the progress of the Bin-Go Jackpots click on the 'Go' icon of the game and this shows their current progress. For example The Monthly Drop is at just over £11K whilst The Big One is over £62K.
