Cozino & Clover Casino Join Jumpman

Published On 7th November 2022

Roll back a few years and new bingo sites were popping out the woodwork like bugs on I'm A Celebrity bushtucker trial. As the bingo bubble burst the baton passed to slots brands who thanks to the likes of Jumpman grew rapidly in number. This year (2022) it's safe to say that new bingo and new slots brands have been very much in short supply. In fact the only excitement has come from a few platform changes (Bet365 Bingo to Pragmatic Play, Grace Media brands to ProgressPlay, Updates to the old Dragonfish set-up etc) and the imminent arrival of Bingo Stars, although we suspect that this may end up being a bit of a damp squib. However after a hiatus with respect to new additions we can confirm two new slots brands have just launched on that particular platform: Cozino and Clover Casino take the current number of active partner sites on Jumpman up to 173. But don't get too excited as they're not brand new.

Cozino & Clover Casino

Cozino and Clover Casino are owned by Fortuna Gaming who are also responsible for Big Win Affiliates. This company own a number of Jumpman powered brands including Barbados Bingo, Wizard Slots, Star Slots and Mega Reel. From what we can understand Cozino, which has a Wild West them, was originally powered by Skill On Net. In 2018 it was described as being "positioned as a premium online casino brand for players who want to feel part of a fun, inclusive, friendly and welcoming site". Clover Casino, an Irish themed brand, has also changed platform. This brand was originally with Grace Media (formerly Nektan) but that set-up is now closing down. It wouldn't surprise us to see a few more make the move to Jumpman. So what's on offer at these "new" sites? Cozino have a welcome offer of a 100% Bonus up to £200 plus 50 Free Spins on Big Bass Bonanza, whilst Clover Casino are sticking with the tried and tested Mega Wheel welcome bonus of the chance to win up to 500 Free Spins on Big Bass Bonanza. Terms and conditions apply including x65 wagering and max bonus conversion to real funds equal to lifetime deposits (up to £250). Aside from the welcome offers there's nothing here that's different from the multitude of Jumpman sister sites.

Diamond Dazzle Bingo

Whilst both Cozino and Clover Casino are obviously aimed at the slots market, they do both carry bingo - something they previously didn't do under the old guises. So could we dub them new bingo sites? Well probably not because as with above we're just getting the same old Jumpman set-up which means another notch on the powered by Pragmatic Play bingo bedstead. This means you'll find 30, 75, 80 and 90 ball rooms which are shared by everybody these days including Heart, BetVictor and Bet365 alongside Bingo Blast. Interestingly the Friday night jackpot room which was exclusive to Jumpman doesn't seem to be active? However there's some good news and that's the launch of a brand new bingo room called Diamond Dazzle. This will be a 90 ball bingo game "with extra sparkly Diamond Dazzle". Details about this new room are being carefully guarded so for now we'll have to wait until the 24th November to find out more. Let's hope it has more substance than Bingo Blast which for us is something that's better filed under "nice idea". Whilst Pragmatic Play are happy to call it innovative we just find it sucks all the joy and excitement out of actually playing bingo.

So Why Aren't These New Sites Listed?

We could add Cozino and Clover Casino to our new additions for 2022 lists, and there's no doubt that it would help beef up what is proving to be a poor year. However there's little to no point in their inclusion here because in reality they don't improve the status quo. With 171 Jumpman brands plus a further 31 on Jumpman's own group, another two offering the same old same old isn't worth our time. Unless you're a bonus hunter and desperately want to join every site then we see no reason to include them. In the strictest of senses both brands also aren't new and neither have exactly set the gambling world on fire. It'd be great if they did make some impact with Jumpman but we just can't see it happening. At the end of the day new online slots and new online bingo sites are well and truly in the weeds but adding the likes of Cozino and Clover Casino as "new" to boost our content doesn't improve the actual picture. However this also puts us in a quandary. Whilst big brands like Paddy Power and Betfair push us out the affiliate picture we're left with potentially having to feature brands that aren't as good for customers albeit they may have better scruples than the affiliate teams employed at Paddy Power Betfair. Ultimately this choice will probably leave us unable to survive as a brand in online gambling.

Will We Ever See A New Big Name?

It's hard to see a new addition to the online slots or bingo space climbing the ladder to become part of the elite, or even worthy of regular attention. Off hand the only noteworthy launches in recent years have been Buzz Bingo and MrQ. Buzz have done well with bingo whilst MrQ has become more slots orientated despite it's initial intentions to disrupt the space dominated by Dragonfish and the like back in 2018. Both brands have probably invested heavily in their product - MrQ for example has had a revamp and undertaken TV advertising during 2022 to improve their reach - but you're not going to get that from Cozino and Clover. When you consider that even more well known names such as Star Wins, Mirror Bingo and Express Wins (all Jumpman) don't exactly advertise a lot plus the lack of big promotions from many brands these days (especially bingo) then it poses the question - if the big guys aren't doing it how can the small guys? No new company in their right mind is going to enter the fray with a huge bottomless pit of cash either. This situation leaves players looking for new places to play with scraps whilst the establishment reel back on what they offer because there's little to no competition.
