Foxy Launch Free Slot Masters Multi Player Game

Foxy Bingo have introduced an exciting new feature to their roster. Slot Masters is a free to play game that pits player against player in slot battles. Usually in a slot battle - or slot race as they're sometimes called - the aim of the game is to get more points than other participants. That is actually the same with Slot Masters but there's an interesting twist. When you play a round you're spinning the reels against a couple of other players and there are opportunities to steal their points. Of course they too can steal yours which makes for a fun couple of minutes that requires luck and a bit of strategy!
How To Play Slot Masters
To play Slot Masters you need to login to Foxy Bingo and head to the promotions section. You can play as long as you have an active account and as far as we're aware no deposit is needed. Slot Masters is available from 2pm until 10pm daily until further notice. Each day you get awarded three battles in which you can play in. When you click play you'll be pitted against up to two other players. When the game starts you then have two minutes in which to spin the reels of the featured slot, at time of writing Cash In The Keep, as many times as possible and accumulate as many wins as you can. Of course that's all down to luck! The slot plays like any other normal game but instead of cash prizes you're awarded points for winning lines. The aim of the game is to get a big score but as mentioned above there's a twist.
Slot Weapons
Whilst you're spinning the reels, so are your competitors. You can see their status in the game window. Every now and then you'll be awarded a weapon to use and these really make Slot Masters an interesting proposition. The available weapons include freeze, bomb, thief and shield. With freeze you can stop one of your opponents from playing - and scoring points - for a few rounds. The bomb wipes out an opponents score whilst thief takes 50% of their score and adds it to yours. Whilst it's great having these weapons it should be noted that your opponents also have them and will happily use them against you. To aid you in your quest for a big score the shield weapon prevents any attacks on your score for a few rounds. Other weapons are available including lock, sword, archer and raid but we didn't get to see these in action during our game play.
Winning With Slot Masters
To win on Slot Masters you need to score well on your three battles. Part of this is down to pure luck as you rely on the spins of the reel to be in your favour. However it also pays to keep one eye on how well your competitors are faring in the battle as this is where strategy comes in! Do you use your attacking weapons early or save them for later in the game when your opponent's have a bigger score? Whatever you decide your three battle scores are combined and give you a place on the tournament leaderboard. The top two players receive an unspecified cash prize whilst the next 98 top scorers receive free spins on a selected slot. Terms apply. When we played we scored what seemed a decent 4600 points but that actually was pitiful compared to the leader's score of 116655. You needed over 7000 points to make the top 100 players. So no win for us but there's always tomorrow!
Out Verdict
Foxy Bingo describe Slot Master as a "live, first-of-its-kind slot" that "puts you at the heart of the action". We've not played anything like this before and can safely say that it's pretty cool. It takes slots and free to play games to a completely different level. It's one thing trying to score a high score simply spinning the reels, but it's something entirely different when you're trying to do this whilst using strategy to stop your opponents and protect your score. Slot Master is great fun and even better because it's free to play! Whether it remains free to play in the long term or if Foxy introduce a premium version remains to be seen, but Slot Master is an exciting addition to the site and to the world of slots and bingo.
