The aim of the game is to burst all your bubbles and scoop the full house. But doesn't this game seem very familiar? Well yes because it's very similar to the game Pulse that you can play over at Tombola.

Bingo Beats is another exclusive 50 ball game at Gala Bingo. The game is set on a dark blue background and features coloured and numbered bubbles floating round the screen. The calls are made in the middle of the card and are surrounded by a heart. As you play you'll hear a heartbeat and this quickens as you get nearer to completing a full house. Between games there's a techno soundtrack which is actually quite cool. Overall this is a stylish version of the popular numbers game.

How To Play Bingo Beats

To play Bingo Beats you first need to select your card price. Note that there are several Beats Bingo Rooms (Flutter, Thud, Thump, Thrill) and each room will host a maximum of 50 players. Ticket prices start at just 2p but the prices vary from room to room. For example in Flutter you can play for 10p, 20p, £1 or £2 whilst in Thrill tickets cost 2p, 4p, 8p or 16p. Games take place every 2mins 24 hours a day. You can only purchase one card per game. All players will play the same game but the value of the prizes increase based on ticket price.

Each bingo card has 10 numbers and the aim of the game is to coverall all numbers - or burst all the bubbles - first in order to win the full house. To complement the base game, Bingo Beats also has two jackpots. A fixed maxi jackpot that is won in 15 calls or less and a fixed mini jackpot that's won in 16 to 18 calls. At time of writing (November 2019) Gala were also hosting special £10K Fridays promotions.

Our Verdict

Bingo Beats looks very stylish and the one card per game - Tombola style - now seems to be standard for any non-90 ball game on Virtue Fusion sites. The limited number of players per room is another good element of the game and we love the fact that you can play from just 2p. However, it has to be said that Bingo Beats does take inspiration from Pulse at Tombola and BOB at Mecca Bingo. From a player point of view that's not a bad thing but it does dilute the uniqueness of Pulse a little which may upset the Tombola stable.

That said it should be noted that Tombola's Pulse is a 36 ball game with 12 numbers and Gala's Bingo Beats is in fact 50 with 10. Pulse rooms are restricted to 90 players whilst it's just 50 at Gala. We've played both and whilst they're both enjoyable it's Beats that gets the more favourable nod. This is partly because we actually won a full house and actually feel there's a chance of winning. Overall though Bingo Beats just looks better. Pulse remains very successful at Tombola, we suspect Bingo Beats will do just as well for Gala.
