Who Are Happy Tiger Bingo?
Published On 4th July 2023
In recent times we have frequently lamented the lack of new UK bingo sites and quality of those that have launched. Over the last couple of years there's been very slim pickings when it comes to newcomers in the sector. So much so that those portals that dish out annual awards have to resort to giving them to brands that have changed platforms. However there has been a new kid on the block over the last year or two. Not only is it a new brand but it's also on it's own platform. You may have seen ads for it popping up across social media. The site is called Happy Tiger Bingo, a Danish site that launched back in 2021. But just who and what is Happy Tiger Bingo?
A Look At Happy Tiger
According to their about us page, Happy Tiger originated "out of free-to-play games" and has roots in casual gaming as far as 2000. The current site launched in 2021 and offers "jackpot games, fantastic bonus games, low stakes, 100% bingo fun and the chance to win real money prizes". Unlike more well known brands like Sky Bingo, Sun Bingo, Jackpotjoy, Gala Bingo and Buzz, Happy Tiger creates all their own games. This includes the slots and bingo room. In many respects it's very similar to Intouch Games sites which also have the same approach. It means that you won't find titles like Deal Or No Deal, Fluffy Favourites or Starburst here. Instead you'll be able to enjoy spins on Fire Fighters, Diamond Express, Safari, Gold Rush and Betty's Burgers. The site offers access to bingo but is limited to just one room and coverall 75 ball games.
Bingo games take place every few minutes at Happy Tiger Bingo. Tickets cost 25p each and you can purchase up to 40 tickets per game. The room is multi-national in that players from Denmark, Sweden and The UK are mixed in together. This obviously helps boost the jackpots and prizes that are on offer. Although the games are 75 ball bingo there seems to be just 1L, 2L, 3L, 4L and FH jackpot games. There aren't pattern games that are synonymous with US Bingo. To play you simply need to purchase tickets and watch the action. The room has a chat area plus there are options to self-daub, change sound settings and automatically sort your cards to show the best one during game play. During the game you'll also see a league table of players which shows who's getting closest to winning the current round. The first four prizes are as indicated but the full house prize is determined by 'Bingo Flash'. Five sums are shown on screen and one is randomly selected by the computer. Usually this is one of the lower values but there is a top prize of £2500, which does occasionally get won.
Is It Any Good?
At first glance Happy Tiger Bingo looks an interesting proposition. Although there's just the one bingo room it's at least busy and the prizes attractive. During writing the game offered £10 for 1L, £16 for 2L, £33 for 3L and £67 for 4L. The FH prize ranged from £75 to £2500 but the winner actually collected £161. The chat area was reasonably busy but full of complaints of mainly non-UK winners and the same players winning all the time. We did see UK winners so that wasn't an issue plus it seems the site is more popular with Danish players than those from The UK. The same players winning all the time crops up on other sites and can be very frustrating to see. However this isn't an even stevens game and players able to purchase the most tickets will usually have an advantage. The look and design of Happy Tiger is good plus we like the Bingo Flash feature but the price per ticket is a lot more expensive than many other bingo brands. Additionally you'll find that other sites have plenty more choice with respect to bingo rooms, slots and promotions. If you've tried every other platform and maybe want something different then Happy Tiger might be worth seeking out.
