TV and movie themed slots are prevalent across many gaming, bingo and casino sites. However only Gala and Coral have anything to do with Coronation Street. How To Play
Coronation Street slots is a 5 reel, 5 line game. It can be played from as little as 10p per line through to a maximum of £1 per line. Players can also choose whether to play one line through to the full five lines. There's an auto-play option as well as a quick "Bet Max" button.
The icons for the slot are images from The Street and they include Streetcars, Newton & Ridley, Roy's Rolls and The Weatherfield Gazette. All the action happens on a backdrop of Coronation Street. The slot has the feel of a cheap game that you'd possibly find in Roy's Rolls. In some ways that's a nice change from the big production slot games but we did expect something perhaps just a little better.

Coronation Street slots also doesn't have any exciting features. There are no wilds, free spins or bonuses. We'd have hoped to have seen Betty's Hotpot Wilds or a Newton & Ridley free spins round (select a pump to determine your freebies). Instead we're left with something which is quite underwhelming and most certainly not something we'd wish to rush back to play.
Our Verdict
On the positive side though, Coronation Street slots does have a progressive jackpot. The amount you can win is determined by the amount of your stake. Currently the progressive jackpot is between £86K and £863K depending on whether you select 10p a line or £1 per line. As yet no one has won the progressive on this game so expect to see a few celebrations from Gala when it does fall.
