BOGOF Bingo made it's debut in the bingo world around 2009 and it's major claim to fame was that at that time they hired DJ Talent of Britain's Got Talent fame to endorse the site. Since then Talent has gone and the site has undergone a number of changes. It used to be a sister site to Bucky Bingo on the Virtue Fusion platform. Both left that set-up with Bucky moving to Dragonfish whilst BOGOF re-opened on Grace Media's Pragmatic Play powered platform and adopted the longer more wordy title of Buy One Get One Free Bingo. This means that players can enjoy a mixture of 75, 80 and 90 ball games alongside some of the best online slots.

As is now standard, BOGOF Bingo's site is more about functionality. Most certainly there's no reference to DJ Talent and his over the top style. Instead you'll find a colourful looking site with green, yellow and orange dominating things. To be honest it does look a bit of a mish mash, but it also adds some character. It's also good to see a bingo site that puts bingo front and centre of things. Far too many sites have opted to give slots a more dominant position. In fact slots get just a handful of mentions at the footer of the homepage. The site is well designed for mobile and tablet use. No apps are required to play.
BOGOF Bingo Welcome Bonus
New players to BOGOF Bingo are offered a triple bonus on their first deposit. Register, login, deposit and wager £10 to receive a £10 bingo bonus, 50 free spins on Fluffy Favourites and a week of free bingo. Wagering terms apply to the bonuses. The £10 bonus has a wagering requirement of 10x the sum of your deposit and bonus amount which must be met before the bonus and any winnings are converted to capped cash, and this and any further winnings become withdrawable. There are 30, 75, 80 and 90 ball rooms available and these include Zoom Room, Country Roads, Boombox and Heavy Weight. These are joined by the specialist rooms of Diamond Dazzle, a Deal or No Deal inspired 90 ball game, and Bingo Blast. The latter is the speedy 90 ball game that takes the player to the heart of the action by bypassing the 1L and 2L play. Tickets for these rooms typically cost from 5p to 10p and pre-buy is available. Super Heavy Weight and Jackpot Room are available for big money prizes. As far as we're aware, BOGOF doesn't have it's own exclusive room and there's no BOGOF offers or games running.
BOGOF Bingo Slots
Although slots don't get a high billing on the BOGOF Bingo homepage, they are part of the site set-up. However there doesn't seem to be that many options for players. Amongst the top slots are Mustang Trail, The Dog House, Honey Rush, Book Of Fallen, Ruff Heist, Big Bass Bonanza, Finn & The Swirly Spin and John Hunter. Slots can be located by new, popular, featured and megaways. Interestingly BOGOF is one of the few sites that's currently running that doesn't feature Slingo. Don't get excited if you're a big fan of bingo promotions! The only promotion that you're going to find at BOGOF is the welcome one described above. Beyond that it's basically jackpots and themed bingo games. For example Bingo Blast occasionally gets a seasonal makeover for Spring (Blossom), Winter (Snowball) and Halloween (Pumpkins) This is quite disappointing but not unexpected as many brands are curtailing things like prize promotions and exclusives. However we know that other sites that use Pragmatic Play, such as Heart and Lottoland, can and do run offers for their players. As we've alluded to above, the biggest miss from BOGOF Bingo is the lack of buy one get one free games. Mind you they rarely offered that kind of promo in their previous guise. Overall it's very disappointing.
Our Verdict
BOGOF Bingo in our view was always struggling in the shadow of it's bigger sister, Bucky Bingo! However it's now out on it's own and trying to build a player base with Grace Media and Pragmatic Play. That's quite a big ask considering that Heart, Bet365 and PlayOJO are also offering bingo via the same plug-in. The welcome offer of a bonus, free spins and free bingo does sound attractive but that is quickly tempered by the wagering terms, which are quite high - especially the x10 for bingo - which is also on the bonus and deposit. The lack of promotions is also disappointing but that's perhaps more down to the state of the current market (i.e. very few sites are offering exciting bingo promos). On a positive note this is a good option if you want a site that's more bingo focused rather than dominated by slots, casino and other games like Slingo.
