As usual we'll add a disclaimer here. Pre-buy on Tombola Bingo may not be totally brand new but it's not a feature that we've spotted. A quick Google suggests that it's a relatively new option and Wayback only references Tombola's pre-buy FAQ page once. So what is Pre-buy bingo and how can you use it at Tombola? According to Tombola "Pre-buy allows players to purchase tickets on-site for an upcoming promo game". These games are promotional jackpot games only - not the everyday run of the mill games - and currently it's just for the 90 ball games in Bingo90. Purchases start from 10p but Tombola allow you to "upgrade your original stake at any point before the promotional game begins (changing 10p to 20p for example, up to our max stake of £2)".

How To Pre-Buy Tombola Bingo90 Tickets

To find games where you can pre-buy tickets just head to Tombola and their promotions page. From there you'll see buttons on selected promos which say "pre-buy here". Follow that link and you'll be taken to a page where you can make purchases. For example today (19/5) Tombola are hosting 11 £100,000 Cash Climber games between 9pm and 10pm. Firstly you need to select a club, or bingo room, from the listed selection available. Then you simply choose the number of tickets or strips that you wish to purchase for each game. Initially all tickets are 10p and as you select tickets/games Tombola indicates how much is left in your account balance should you purchase. We actually like that because it helps keep you within budget. Once you've decided the tickets that you want then it's a case of simply clicking to confirm your purchase.

Reviewing Pre-buy Bingo Tickets

One thing that could be improved is how to review your pre-buy purchases. You can visit the transactions page but that's not linked from pre-buy nor vice versa. If you return to the pre-buy page however a drop down box appears explaining that "you have already pre-purchased tickets for a promotion" and that you'll need to choose the same club or room to upgrade. Upgrading is perhaps a bit misleading. It simply means you can choose to buy more tickets for a specific game up to a maximum of a £2 wager per game. Overall though the system works very smoothly and it's great that all players now have the opportunity to play in the better promotions. However what about every day games? Well it looks like Tombola have introduced another new feature which they call Bulk Buy.

What Is Bulk Buy Bingo?

Like Pre-buy Bingo, Bulk Buy Bingo at Tombola is exclusive to the Bingo90 room. According to Tombola's FAQ Bulk Buy "allows players to place a stake in up to the next 10 consecutive games of bingo90, deciding the stakes you'd like for each, and purchase them in a single transaction". In other words it's just like the options you find at other sites such as Jackpotjoy, Mecca Bingo and Buzz Bingo but for 90 ball bingo and the next 10 games only. Other platforms offer a lot more times and options than Tombola currently does. We suspect that Bulk Buy and even Pre-Buy are being slowly introduced across the Tombola platform. In time we expect that it'll become a standard feature across many of their other bingo rooms.
