Play Bingo30 - 30 Ball Bingo
Published On 6th February 2023
Bingo30 is the latest new game to launch over at Tombola (February 2023). Whilst we long for better games on platforms like Broadway/Dragonfish, Pragmatic Play and Virtue Fusion, the folks at Tombola continue to jump further and further ahead of their rivals. Described as "bite size bingo that packs a punch", Bingo30 is a fun and speedy version of the popular numbers game but with 30 numbers. It's not their first venture into the 30 ball arena as they tried the numberless Bubble Bingo back in 2021. With Bingo30 there are multiple rooms to choose from although the number of players are restricted. Unusually for Tombola this isn't a multistake room but you can play from as little as 10p a ticket. Have Tombola got another winner on their hands? Let's take a closer look!
- Type Of Game: 30 Ball Bingo
- Cost: 10p up to £2
- Open: 24/7
- Jackpots: FH & Jackpot in 11 calls or less
- Extras: Room Numbers Restricted
- Special Features: Multiple rooms
How To Play Tombola Bingo 30
Tombola's Bingo30 game is a straightforward version of bingo but instead of 75 or 90 balls it is played with 30. This makes the games a little bit faster. When you first open up the game on the site you're greeted with a whole list of room options such as key, butterfly, charm, heart and sixpence. Rather than come up with a whole range of names Tombola have decided that additional rooms should be sequels so you get key2, key3 and key4. Some rooms are open 24/7 whilst others are limited depending on how busy things are on Tombola. Each room runs it's own game but the format and costs are the same. Once you've chosen where to play you need to purchase tickets. As above, unusually, Tombola are offering players the chance to play 1 to 20 tickets per game (10p to £2 cost). This means that there are no multistakes or varying jackpots depending on ticket cost involved. It also means that the games are not even stevens as players can have different numbers of tickets in play. Player numbers are limited to 100 for most rooms, but charm and shamrock can accommodate 500.
Full House Jackpots
Each Bingo30 ticket comprises of 9 numbers and the aim of the game is to mark off all your numbers before fellow roomies. There's just one main prize and that's for the full house. Numbers appear at the top of the screen from a bunch of bouncing coloured balls or balloons. It's simple and stylish but you'd not expect anything less from Tombola. In addition each Bingo 30 game has a jackpot of £1000. This is won when a full house is called in 11 calls or less. Interestingly, these jackpots are not shared. So if - by some miracle - more than one player wins the jackpot at the same time then each player will win the full amount of £1000. You can tailor the bingo experience to your liking with a variety of options such as turning off the music and effects, making the chat background white or warm (ideal for those who don't like glary pages), and varying the colours of the dauber etc. There is an option to daub your own tickets too, as opposed to it being automated, although we wonder if anyone on any bingo site actually chooses to do this?
Our Verdict
Bingo30 is another great addition to the Tombola Roster and already we can see that it's proving to be popular based on the number of players across multiple rooms. We like the fact that it's not a multistakes game simply because it varies the options on site. The only criticism, and this stems with all new Tombola games, is that the rooms are busy and this makes the chances of winning just that bit harder. The player number restrictions does help in some way but we'd prefer the 100 and 500 levels to perhaps be lowered. Our only other frustration is not with Tombola but with every other platform. Why can Tombola continually churn out top quality games and variants whilst other platforms cannot? When was the last time we saw a good new addition from Gamesys, Pragmatic Play, Virtue Fusion or Dragonfish? No wonder Tombola continues to be head and shoulders ahead of the competition.
