The Tombola Bonus Drop Offers Free Bonus Money

Usually about this time year Tombola are gearing up to launch their annual Free Fivers promotion. However we've got bad news as there's no sign of this promo for 2023. But before you get too disappointed we also have some good news! And that good news is that Britain's Biggest Bingo Site has a different kind of offer that we think replaces Free Fivers. The Bonus Drop has launched and over the next few weeks it'll see up to £1million in bonus money being dropped into player accounts. As long as you've subscribed to receive emails you should be able to receive a share of the goodies being given away.
What Is The Tombola Bonus Drop?
The Bonus Drop at Tombola runs daily from the 7th September to 30th September 2023. The promotion is active for active tombola/tombola arcade customers since 1st November 2021 who have deposited and made a real money stake on either site on more than 4 individual days over 3 individual weeks. In addition customers who joined prior to the 4th September 2023 will also qualify. Over the next couple of weeks players will receive an email indicating a prize award. The prizes on offer are as follows: £1 Bonus Money and 5 Free Plays, £2 Bonus Money and 5 Free Plays and £5 Bonus Money and 10 Free Plays. Emails are being sent out in a staggered way based on surnames. For example players with surnames beginning with A and B would have received their emails on the 7th September whilst it's the 8th September for surnames starting with C and D. The full date distribution is below.
When Will I Get My Bonus Drop?
- Thursday 7th September A-B
- Friday 8th September C-D
- Tuesday 12th September E-G
- Wednesday 13th September H-K
- Thursday 14th September L-M
- Friday 15th September N-Q
- Tuesday 19th September R-S
- Wednesday 20th September T-Z
Players who don't get a bonus from within the above date distribution still can get involved.This is because the terms state that "additionally, any players who meet the eligible criteria during the promotion by 11.59pm Thursday 21st September and are opted in to receive marketing emails, will receive an email on Friday 22nd September awarding them a bonus". From what we can understand this sadly does mean that any new customer that sign up unfortunately won't be able to get involved. This is a change to the usual Free Fivers offer. Note that if you do get an award you need to click the link in the email and then have until the end of the month to use the bonus and spins. Spins obviously can only be used at Tombola Arcade.
No More Free Fivers?
It's fair to say that The Bonus Drop is 2023's replacement for Free Fivers but is this a good thing? Well it depends on your point of view! It most certainly works out better for Tombola because instead of giving every player a £5 bonus they can offer them one that's much less plus they can encourage players to head to Tombola Arcade through free spin plays. Last year's Free Fivers coincided with the launch of their Britain's Biggest Bingo game and we wonder just how many players used part of their free fiver to get £2 of tickets in that game? Interestingly there's no sign of a return of the big money game just yet. However there is a Best Of Bingo promotion running at the site throughout October. The promos page indicates that during September there's £1 Million in Guaranteed prizes with 1000s of chances to win. In other words there are plenty of games where you'll be able to spend your bonus and perhaps forget that the bonus isn't quite as big as in previous times.
