Back in 2019 Jackpotjoy were the sponsors of ITV Daytime show Loose Women. To coincide with this sponsorship there were regular prize draws and polls about hot topics. Fast forward to 2023 and Loose Women then teamed up with Mecca Bingo for a special 50 ball game that swapped numbers for "Hot Topics". Unfortunately that particular game is no longer available but Mecca Bingo still have a Loose Women room. So what's happened? Well the 50 ball room has gone and a 90 ball game has taken it's place. Out go the Hot Topics and in comes a basic numbers game.

How To Play Loose Women Bingo
Loose Women Bingo is a 90 ball game themed on the popular ITV chat show. When you enter the room you'll be greeted with the familiar pink and blue colour palette whilst the background behind the bingo cards shows a graphical depiction of the show's set - minus the presenters, who sadly aren't involved with the game. The original 50 ball Loose Women Bingo game was a multi-stake one but this 90 ball version is a basic bingo game therefore you can purchase multiple tickets from as little as 5p. The maximum number of tickets per game is dependent on the ticket price. For example a 10p game will allow you to purchase up to 72 tickets whilst the 5p games allow a player up to 100 tickets. Each ticket has 15 numbers and there are prizes of 1 line, 2 lines and a Full House to be won on each game.
Hot Topics
In the original game, istead of the numbers 1 to 50, Loose Women 50 Ball Bingo used Hot Topics to represent them. According to Mecca Bingo these were "inspired by what the ladies talk about on the TV show". For the 90 ball game though it's back to numbers 1 to 90. We guess finding 90 "Hot Topics" might have been quite a tall order? Anyway as well as your bingo tickets you'll see a Loose Women Community Jackpot bingo card on the screen whilst you play. This is the game's main extra feature. When house is called the winning number will be marked off the community card if it is available and the full house winner gets £5 extra on their winnings. If the number completes one line, two lines or the full house on the community card then the winner takes the corresponding prize up to £200 for the FH. If this sounds familiar then it's the same format in the original Coronation Street Bingo game that was on Gala Bingo prior to it's move from Virtue Fusion to Entain.
Our Verdict
As a 50 ball game Loose Women Bingo was a more interesting proposition. It swapped numbers for "Hot Topics" plus was an even stevens multistake game. As a 90 ball variant it's less exciting although it does make good use of the former Coronation Street Bingo set-up. Checking back it's also the same format that was used by The X Factor Bingo. We're guessing that the 50 ball version just wasn't that popular or profitable and that in order to maintain the relationship it was easier to dust off an old favourite and give it a fresh coat of paint. That's not necessarily a bad thing but in terms of Loose Women there's not a lot to get excited about. It'd be great if you could win some merch or perhaps tickets to the show - or maybe have a presenter live chat experience every once in a while.
