Enjoy Daily Live Bingo At Gala Bingo

Last year Buzz Bingo introduced Live Bingo to their roster. Live events aren't unusual when it comes to bingo but Buzz revolutionised the process by having presenters like Roger and Devin immersed in the game. Buzz describe their offering as the closest thing to being in a bingo club and they're not wrong. The product has also been very popular with players too which has seen Buzz open up Go Go Bingo Live every afternoon. This popularity has probably not gone unnoticed by other bingo brands and perhaps it's not a surprise to now see Gala Bingo offering Daily Live Bingo to their players. All you have to do is head to the Gala Live Room to get involved.
Gala Live Bingo Room
The Gala Live Bingo Room is open daily every Sunday to Thursday between 19:27 and 20:30. It launched early in December and has only closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Unlike Buzz Bingo's Live Bingo, Gala are simply running a live stream alongside the games that will take place during the hour sessions. However the presenters are on hand to offer chat games and prizes. To participate you need to be online, in the Live Bingo Room and have purchased at least one bingo ticket. Pre-buy is available should you wish to play the games. Ticket prices range from 1p to 10p whilst pots range from £25 to £75. Interestingly the max tickets for 5p and 10p games are 96 but for the 1p and 2p games you can max out to 360. We personally think this is too high and that bargain games shouldn't be swamped by players purchasing 100s and 100s of tickets. Anyway aside from that the presence of a Live Stream adds a bit more interactivity to the bingo game and there should be extra chances to win via chat games etc. It's not quite Buzz Live Bingo, but it's the step in the right direction.
Valentine's Hot Ball
Love changes everything but this February it's not changed a lot when it comes to online bingo. In fact it's hard to find any brands that have got that loving feeling. Thankfully love is in the air at Gala who are celebrating Valentine's with some Hot Balls! Every day until the 28th February 2023 there will be special Hot Ball games taking place at 18:05, 18:40, 19:10, 19:40, 20:15, 20:40, 21:10, 21:50, 22:15, and 22:45. All games will take place in the Metropolis room. At the start of a Hot Ball game a number will be selected that will represent the hot ball. If the full house is called with the selected number then every player with a ticket for that game will receive a share of £500. According to the terms there's a guaranteed £140,000 that could be won provided each and every game is won on the hot ball. The reality is that not many games will result in a £500 prize being shared simply because of the odds of it happening. It'd be very interesting to know just how many Hot Ball winners there are at Gala at the end of February.
Best Overall Bingo Site 2023
One prize that has definitely been awarded is Best Overall Bingo Site 2023 and that's going to Gala Bingo. They scooped the top title at the BingoPort Awards which took place recently. Congratulations to Gala although we're still confused as to why they weren't nominated in the "Best Proprietary Bingo Site" whilst their sister brand, Foxy, was. But we've alluded to all this in an earlier article about Best New Bingo Sites. Anyway the winner in the 2023 category was Heart Bingo. That's the same Heart Bingo which relaunched in 2021 on a new platform (therefore not new as it's existed for years). It's successor on Gamesys, Double Bubble Bingo, which kind of replaced Heart when it moved platform and therefore launched at exactly the same time won Best New Bingo Site 2022. Mind you players can only vote for what's put in front of them and impressively 40,000 votes were cast. BingoPort are happy, the winners are happy and everyone will now move on to the next round of awards. On a positive note at least Paddy Power and Betfair didn't win anything.
