Enter The £10K Tech Giveaway At MrQ
This Offer Has Expired.
Last month we told you about MrQ's rebrand and this month we can tell you that they're not sitting back and admiring their work. There's obviously moves afoot to build up the reputation of this standalone brand that prides itself with no wagering terms, super fast withdrawals and no fees. However one area of MrQ that's not been great is their bingo and it looks like they're making efforts to change that. In addition they're also hosting a £10K Tech Giveaway to reward depositors. Read on to find out more.
New Bingo Rooms?
It's safe to say that the bingo rooms at MrQ haven't quite hit the spot and in recent times, when we've logged in, there's not been a lot of activity. In fact the rooms were often limited to a 90 ball room and the Progressive Rock N Roller game. Today there are still just a couple of rooms open: Pinch A Penny which is a 90 ball room with penny bingo games and Full Monty which is a 75 ball jackpot room. In addition there's a free bingo room called On The House. But are these rooms really new? Well no because we're pretty sure The Full Monty is just a new name for Rock N Roller. The premise of this game is quite clever in that the only prize is the jackpot and it's only won if house is called in a select number of calls. If no one wins then the prize rollsover. It makes sense to change room names as part of the MrQ revamp but we still need to see some more improvements in the overall bingo product.
How To Enter The £10K Tech Giveaway
Last month Jumpman ran a promotion for depositors with a Fiat 500 or £10,500 cash alternative as the headline prize. MrQ are doing something similar this month but there's £10K of Tech prizes up for grabs. It's also worth mentioning that there's just one MrQ involved in this promo as opposed to over 200 that ran with the Jumpman prize draw in January. The MrQ tech Giveaway runs between the 1st and 28th February 2022. To opt-in to the promotion you need to make an initial first deposit of £20 or more using the code FEB. To then qualify for the prize draw you'll also need to wager that £20 on any slots during the month. Wagers on table games don't count towards the promo. At the end of the month 20 winners will be selected to receive at random one of the tech or cash prizes that are on offer. Winners will be notified at the start of March.
The Prizes
The following tangible prizes can be won in the MrQ Tech Giveaway: LG OLED 55” TV, iPhone 13 Pro Max, Mac Book Air, Galaxy Z Flip3 5G, LG OLED 48" TV, iPad Pro 11 Inch, Xbox Series X & Elite Series 2 Wireless Controller Bundle, Sonos Beam Gen 2, Apple Watch Series 7 and a Bose Companion 50 Multimendia Speaker System. In addition there are 10 x £250 cash prizes to be won too. If you're lucky enough to win one of the tangible prizes then you can opt to take a cash alternative. However this will be equivalent to 75% of the value of the prize. We think that Tech prizes tend to retain decent resell value so our advice would be to take the tangible prize as opposed to the cash alternative. We would still prefer operators who run prize draws offering 100% of the value of the tangible prize. We just think if the prize is worth £1000, for example, then that's what the winner gets whether it's a £1000 iPhone or £1000 cash.
Exciting Times At MrQ
A revamp and an exciting depositor's promotion should help push MrQ forward as it makes strong attempts to establish itself as a "go to" place for slots and casino players. It's good to see as they genuinely do put the player first and foremost in their beliefs. There's still work to be done even though the number of slots and operators available are always increasing. Live Casino is one area which needs a massive upgrade especially with respect to Game Shows as MrQ doesn't have any. And of course Bingo continues to lag behind it's slots counterparts. The name changes are interesting but there's still no regular games playing throughout the day. Something needs to be done and it makes us wonder if we will see Pragmatic Play drop in to the channel. It wouldn't be a terrible thing - just not great - but we'd rather see MrQ pursue a Tombola style proprietary route.
