What Are No Wagering Requirement Bingo Sites?

Have you ever received a bingo or slots bonus and then been unable to withdraw because of wagering terms? They can be a nuisance and at times pretty confusing. However, the times are a changing and over the last 12 months (2018) there's been a shift towards no wagering bingo and slot sites. We've already seen the emergence of the Dragonfish Real Money Network, but other brands have started to follow suit. No wagering means that when you receive a bonus or prize then this will be paid as cash. For example, let's say you receive 30 bingo tickets as a bonus and go on to win £5. At a no wagering property the £5 will be paid into your cash account and you'll be able to withdraw (assuming you've met the site's withdrawal terms). On another site that £5 may be paid as a bonus and incur a wagering term of x4. This would mean you'd need to wager £20 before you could withdraw the fiver.

The Rise & Fall Of No Wagering Bingo

Whilst a number of big name operators happily operate within a "no wagering terms" environment, many smaller brands failed. Bgo.com for example tried switching from bonuses with wagering terms to those without but after a few months switched back. Sites also owned by Bgo, such as Costa, Sing and City, also dabbled with no wagering but again they switched back. Interestingly other brands within the Costa network didn't switch but they've all since closed. The Real Money Network from Dragonfish is still active but not many of those sites are still live and those that remain active are probably hanging on by their finger tips.

No Wagering Bingo Or Wagering Bingo Sites?

A lot of big UK brands now run close to being "no wagering requirements". However because you need to wager in order to claim a bonus some will say that they don't fall under the "no wagering" umbrella (who said this move would make things clearer). What this means that wagering/no wagering isn't necessarily a big deal these days. It really only comes into play when comparing brands on the same platform. For example PlayOJO Bingo, Bet365 Bingo and Heart Bingo are all powered by Pragmatic Play. All have no wagering requirements. However Mirror Bingo, Dream Bingo and Star Wins are also powered by Pragmatic Play but bonus offers - which are all slots orientated - come with a x65 wagering term plus there's £2.50 withdrawal fees. In cases like that it's a no-brainer that the no wagering requirement brands are more attractive.
