Butlers Bingo hit the news recently when their parent company became the new owners of the Dragonfish bingo platform and associated elements earlier in the month. This move could have massive implications for many online bingo brands in 2022 as it offers the potential for relaunches, revamps and sadly closures. 12 Days Of Christmas
There's a lot of confusion within marketing about when the 12 Days Of Christmas actually occur. Some think it's the 1st to the 12th and others the 13th to the 24th. Butlers are closer to the reality of the 25th December to 5th January with their 12 Days promo which starts from the 22nd. From then until the 2nd January 2022, you will be able to get a different bonus every day when you claim within the daily period. As the 888/Dragonfish deal won't be finalised until quarter two of 2022 we're not expecting too much to change with respect to Butlers or indeed it's sister Broadway Gaming brands. In fact we wouldn't be surprised to see Butlers continue with Pragmatic Play at least for another 12 months. This means that you'll still see network jackpots and occasional group jackpots in the exclusive Broadway room. Once the company have finalised the Dragonfish deal they'll need to get to grips with the new platform and look at the existing brands such as Wink, 888 Ladies and Costa. It'd make sense to develop them first, maybe close a few of the less popular sites and then look at moving Butlers to a new home. But you just never know with online bingo these days so 2022 could be a very interesting year for all involved.
