Now that Tombola have been acquired by Flutter it pretty much leaves MrQ as one of the last independent sites standing. Charity Bingo
MrQ caught our eye this week thanks to a post on Linkedin with respect to a charity bingo game. Lindar Media who own MrQ reported that they'll be hosting another game soon to raise funds for Dogs On The Streets (DOTS). They expalined that "the next game kicks off on 28th December at 8pm; all ticket sales for the event will go towards DOTS and their amazing work ensuring homeless dogs get the care, training, and love that they deserve. We raised an astounding £1,902+ in our last DOTS bingo night and we want to smash that figure for our second night". In addition Lindar explained that "MrQ will also be making a personal donation of £1000 in continued support of their wonderful efforts". Unfortunately when we logged in (14th December) there was no mention of the game. Hopefully it'll be online soon - and when it is make sure you get your tickets.
MrQ Bingo In 2022
We love the fact that MrQ are offering free bingo and charity bingo games. We also like their Rock n Rollover progressive although as far as we know it's never been won to date. That said we do wonder where they're taking their bingo product going into 2022. It's fair to say that having a couple of rooms open isn't going to attract players - but as we've also seen having multiple empty rooms isn't attractive either. There is always the option to follow the likes of Jumpman and Grace Media (formerly Nektan) and employ the Pragmatic Play plug-in bingo software instead, but we do hope that somehow they can continue to use their own platform and become a viable and attractive alternative to bingo players bored of the same old Dragonfish, Pragmatic Play and Playtech offerings.
