Brits Bingo is a 50 ball game played on a stylish card that features a London cityscape in silhouette. The bingo numbers are scattered around the card and each number has a London/Britain theme attached to it. For example you'll see Big Ben, a red phone box, British Bulldog, Policeman, Loch Ness Monster and Fish & Chips. Whilst the card looks great the bingo numbers are called as numbers!
Progressive Jackpot
To play Brits 50 Bingo you first need to select your card price. You can choose 10p, 50p, £1 or £2. You can only purchase one card per game. All players will play the same game but the value of the prizes increase based on ticket price. Each bingo card has 10 numbers and the aim of the game is to coverall all number first in order to win the full house.
To complement the base game, Brits 50 Bingo also has a progressive jackpot. This is won if house is called in 19 calls or less. Note that this is a community jackpot and 100% of the pot is shared by the rommies playing the game when the jackpot is won. At time of writing the jackpot was around £1700 (for a £1 ticket). The number of players was just 14 so if won that would mean a decent prize for all.
Our Verdict
Brit 50 Bingo looks good and the one card per game - Tombola style - is a good addition to any lobby. We like the look of the game but wonder if there are other backgrounds other than London. The popular icons are great but we'd love the bingo calls to reference the icons rather than just be numbers. Something along the lines of Pirates that you can find at Tombola.
Another big positive of Brit 50 Bingo is that it's exclusive to Sun Bingo (although it may also play at Fabulous Bingo). In a time when bingo rooms and networks seem to be merging, having standalone rooms means that players know they are playing against others on the same site.
