Love Island has returned to our screens and already the gossip columns are full of who will couple up and go on to win. Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham are the early favourites, but anything can happen in this ITV2 reality show. Joining the Islanders this year is Sky Bingo who have launched a new 90 ball game - Love Island Bingo.

Love Island Bingo is a new and exclusive 90 ball bingo game based on the amazing TV show. According to Sky's promotions page it "allows you to experience all the bantz of Love Island outside of the villa". The bingo tickets for the game appear on lilos floating on a pool. There's even a unique ball call feature called "Got a Text".
Collect Water Bonus
During the game players collect water bottles. Collect 500ml of water - this accumulates over several games - to win a £1 bonus. Note that you must play at least six tickets in a game for this feature. A further feature is a Love Island Jackpot. Call house in 38 calls or less to win the community prize. The prize is split between the winner and other roomies.
The game doesn't feature any contestants from the current or previous series of Love Island. There's also no clips from the show! At the end of each game though you do get a blast of the show's theme tune. By the way the 'Got A Text' calling feature isn't half as exciting as it actually sounds. The numbers just appear in a mobile chat window!
Win A Holiday
The game is OK, but is really just a standard 90 ball game given a beach makeover. The daily holiday prize is good and makes it worth a visit each evening. We think a few Love Island contestants chat specials would encourage more players to get involved.
The Love Island Bingo Room is open at Sky Bingo between 9pm & 11pm every night. It's open between Friday 1st June 2018 and Friday 31st August 2018. To encourage play, Sky Bingo will be dishing out a prize holiday and 4 Love Island Merchandise Packs each day between 1st June and 31st July. Look out for the 20p games that will play during the evening!
More Love Island Games
In some ways it's a surprise to see Sky Bingo offering the exclusive Love Island Bingo room. However, they do have previous form with TV shows thanks to their Tipping Point bingo game.
The surprise for us is because Gaming Realms launched Love Island Games last year on the Slingo platform, although that system isn't set-up for 90 ball bingo games. We'd have thought Love Island Games would have been in poll position to offer themed games? In fact, Love Island Games now only have a branded Slingo game, whilst Sky Bingo have the bingo, slot and instant win.
It just goes to show that not every coupling works out as you'd think (Sky and Affiliates are another case in point). We do wonder how popular Love Island Bingo will be for Sky Bingo. Big Brother Bingo never really took off - so will things be different for this popular ITV2 show? Will potential players be more interested in watching the programme than playing the bingo game of the same name?
