MrQ launched as a bespoke bingo and slots brand in September 2018. Launching a new site on a new platform is a tough ask for anyone. Previous attempts by Wonder Bingo, Amuso.com and Xbingo all ended in disappointment. Even Jumpman abandoned their own software and turned to Pragmatic Play. Using proprietary software hasn't effected Tombola but will we be able to say the same for new site MrQ? At first all looked to be going well for bingo as MrQ was voted Best Proprietary Bingo Software in BingoPort's 2019 Awards. Since then however slots have taken centre stage and currently bingo looks to be on the backburner.
MrQ is the brainchild of Lindar Media. They've been involved in online bingo for some time with portals like Two Little Fleas (now sold) and Online Bingo. They also ran Oink Bingo, Circus Bingo and Blast Off Bingo on Dragonfish. These sites have since either been sold or closed down so Lindar can focus on their own software and the development of MrQ. The site itself looks great and is perfectly designed for desktop and mobile players. The design is very clean but they've still managed to cram in plenty of detail including featured slots, new games and latest winners. They also highlight their super fast withdrawals and no wagering fees!
MrQ Welcome Offer
New players are welcomed to MrQ with a free spins deposit bonus. Register, login and deposit £10 to get 20 free spins on Fishin' Frenzy Megaways. The spins are valued at 10p each. The free spins must be used within 48 hours of qualifying. All winnings are uncapped and credited to your real money balance. This means no wagering terms are applicable. Free bingo is offered to newbies too. This free bingo means that you can see what the software is all about. For 24 hours, new players can play in the Free For All bingo room - provided that it is active. All prizes are paid in cash so again there are no wagering terms to worry about.
When MrQ launched there wre a number of bingo rooms including Freedom, Ocean, Festival, Rock & Rollover, Picnic, Popcorn and Piece Of Cake and Cloud 9. Ticket prices varied from room to room but you could play from as little as 1p all the way up to £1 a ticket. Pre-buy is available on selected games such as Rock & Rollover. This is a unique game where no prize is awarded unless house is called in a select number of calls. Instead the progressive jackpot rolls over until it is won. At time of writing the pot is just under £10,000. To boost the product MrQ have previously employed the services of Amy Childs and Cara De La Hoyde but without a huge boost in numbers. More recently bingo has been limited at MrQ with only the 90 ball Popcorn room active (at least when we've checked in).
When MrQ launched it only offered players a small selection of slots. These were provided by Eyecon Games and Thunderkicks and we wished for more. Thankfully our wish has been granted as MrQ now boasts games from the likes of Net Entertainment and Blueprint Gaming. Login to the slots lobby now and you're able to play top titles such as Starburst, Bonanza Megaways, Ozzy Osbourne, Motorhead, The Thunderere, Dead Or Alive II and Skulls Up. You can also play a number of progressive jackpots on selected Eyecon Games. These are joined by a number of popular Slingo games, Megaways titles, table games and a new live casino. However the latter is limited to just roulette and could benefit from the addition of game shows, blackjack etc.
Player promotions at MrQ are limited but they do exist from time to time. These are usually announced via email or featured within the lobby. For example in October 2021 players had the chance to win a year of spins (20 free spins every week). As mentioned above the brand has also ran celebrity bingo games. With respect to regular offers you can collect spins by referring friends to the site as well as by verifying your mobile number. MrQ don't have a dedicated rewards programme and go out of their way to let players know. They believe all players are important from the moment they sign up - we like that!
Since their launch in 2018 MrQ have definitely worked hard to establish themselves in a difficult market at a very difficult time. However, getting players to deposit and play at a new platform is not easy and this is still evident at MrQ. The fact that the bingo element of the brand has been reduced suggests to us that either the focus will be on slots or a new bingo element will be added (e.g. Pragmatic Play). We still like the ethos of MrQ especially with respect to responsible gambling, no wagering terms and withdrawals, but it's more a slots site now and therefore our review is now aligned to slots rather than bingo.
