From the files of Police Squad comes another adventure for Lieutenant Frank Drebin in the shape of The Naked Gun slot. Taking inspiration from the first movie of the series, this slot features images of Drebin (Leslie Nielsen), Jane (Priscilla Presley), Vincent Ludwig (Ricardo Montalbán) and Captain Ed Hocken (Alan North).

Naked Gun slots is a lot of fun and is graphically pleasing for a Movie Slot. The game play is smooth and the features available are excellent. However the game loses points due to the sound track. It sounds like the familiar Police Squad theme but it isn't and it rapidly becomes annoying. There's also no sign of OJ Simpson - although his off screen digressions may well explain his exclusion. The game does contain a few soundbites from the original movie, but it's calling out for a couple of clips, just to immerse us firmly in the world of Drebin. Overall we like the game and had fun playing it, but the soundtrack gives it more a Naked Gun 33 and 1/3 quality rather than the brilliance of the first movie.
