Dream Bingo Review
Dream Bingo are back! It's good to know that the online bingo industry is still capable of surprises. A few years ago when Microgaming decided to mothball their bingo product it left Dream Bingo without any bingo games. Instead of adopting the Pragmatic Play platform like Butlers and Rosy, Dream simply stuck to offering slots making it the only bingo brand without the very game in it's name. Fast forward to August 2024 and Dream Bingo has been relaunched on the Jumpman Gaming platform. Jumpman use Pragmatic Play to offer bingo to it's players so Dream has taken the long way round to get back in the game.
Introducing Dream Bingo
A relaunch means a new site! This means a standard Jumpman design which features a dominant welcome offer and handful of featured slots. To keep on theme the Dream Bingo site features a night time sleepy scene with clouds of different hues of blue combined with golden stars and a moon. It's simple but looks good. It's also nice to see that there's no gambling cliches in play such as Lucky Clovers and Bingo Balls. Frustratingly Dream Bingo continues the strange Jumpman phenomena of not featuring bingo rooms on the homepage. Players who aren't familiar with this platform might wonder where the bingo rooms are located and may actually think Dream are still just slots orientated. Dream Bingo is accessible on mobile and tablet but no app download is required.
Dream Bingo Welcome Offer
New players joining Dream Bingo are welcomed with the chance to win free spins. Register, login and deposit a minimum of £10 to spin the bonus wheel for the chance to win 100+ spins on Big Bass Splash. This sounds different to most Jumpman welcome bonuses but you can actually win up to 500 spins. In addition it's possible to win amazon vouchers and cash. Wagering terms of £10 min fund, 65x bonus wagering requirements, max bonus conversion to real funds equal to lifetime deposits (up to £250) apply. Note that as the welcome offer is a spin the wheel bonus then it is possible to actually not win (although we kind of think that the wheel is loaded in favour of a win each time). If you're hoping for anything bingo related, such as free games or bonuses then you're going to be disappointed.
Dream Bingo Rooms
The Dream Bingo rooms are powered by Pragmatic Play. At time of writing there are eight different rooms comprising of 30, 50, 75, 80 and 90 ball games. The main rooms are Country Road, The Jackpot Room, Zoom Room and Boombox. They're joined by Bingo Blast, Pragmatic Play's ultra fast and straight to the action 90 ball game, Animingo, a new 50 ball game and Diamond Dazzle, a Deal or No Deal inspired game. Typically you can expect to play from 5p or 10p per ticket. Pre-buy is available for all rooms but note that none have chat facilities. Furthermore Jumpman no longer seem to have their own exclusive game or rooms. That means that all of the rooms are shared by other Pragmatic Play powered brands such as Bet365, Butlers Bingo, PlayOJO and Heart.
Dream Bingo Slots
You'll find a whole host of slots at new look Dream Bingo! Amongst the 300 or so games that are available you'll find the likes of Rainbow Riches, Starburst and Fluffy Favourites. These are joined by a bundle of jackpot games, Slingo titles and Megaways. The slots are categorised by name, newness and popularity but you'll need to use the search if you want to seek out specific names. We would like to see Jumpman improve the quality of categories. For example under 'Casino' you'll find slots whilst under 'Table Games' there's a bunch of live blackjack and roulette options. Game Shows have recently been added to the platform which is great, but they could be better signposted. Interestingly there are several 'Dream' themed slots such as Shamans Dream, Jasmine Dream and Dreamy Genie.
Dream Bingo Promotions
Dream Bingo have had some excellent promotions over the years. With Tell Us Your Dream all players were invited to complete a survey and as a reward could win prizes. This particular promo ran for well over a year and resulted in at least one car winner. We don't anticipate anything similar at the relaunched Dream Bingo. We expect to just see the standard network offers from Jumpman Gaming. These include Rewards Reel for regulars and new players, Happy Hour every Wednesday and extra spins of The Mega Reel on deposits of £20 or more. Note that wagering terms still apply to these extra spins of the Mega Reel. A trophies scheme is also in play and this gives players opportunities for further turns on the Mega Reel. A monthly prize draw funded by Jumpan Gaming occasionally occurs across the network too.
Our Verdict
Dream Bingo are one of those brands that could and should have featured amongst the Gala's, Mecca's and Foxy's of the online bingo world. Most certainly back in the day they had plenty of attractive promotions. Trying to run Dream Bingo solely as a slots site has to be one of the strangest business decisions we've come across! So can Dream Bingo re-establish itself amongst the stars on the Jumpman Gaming platform? On the plus side bingo is back which is great news for bingo players. However we really do need Jumpman to start offering bingo players some kind of incentive to join and revisit. A welcome bonus, free bingo or even a bingo themed Rewards Reel could help Dream - and other brands on the platform. Lower wagering terms and dropping the £2.50 withdrawal fee would also help make the platform a little more attractive.
