The Dragonfish Real Money Network

When changes were made with respect to the taxation of 'free bingo bonus money', Dragonfish launched the Real Money Network (also known as Real Bingo Network) in February 2017. All About No Wagering Dragonfish Bingo

If you'd visited this page a few years ago then it'd be full of Dragonfish bingo brands that were offering no wagering bingo. However in 2021 Broadway Gaming acquired 888/Dragonfish and since then the platform has been in decline. To be fair one could argue that it never inclined because it's hard to make a case for any brand on the platform making any kind of impact. Indeed for a period - although not on the same network - Costa, Sing and their sister brands experimented with no wagering terms but quickly returned back to offering players bonuses that required wagering terms. Anyway in the last couple of years Broadway Gaming have either bought existing sites or closed them down. There are still some Real Money brands running, such as Yay Bingo, Barmy Bingo and Loadsa Bingo but they are getting little to no promotion from either owners or affiliates.

Why Wasn't It Successful?

In our opinion The Real Money Network wasn't a success. But is that because players were just not interested in no wagering bingo/slots? The fact that brands like Jackpotjoy, Heart Bingo and PlayOJO for example have successfully implemented no wagering term set-ups suggests that they can work. However the welcome offers on Real Money Bingo brands have never been that attractive. At time of writing Yay Bingo have 10 free spins on a £10 deposit. The value of the spins are 25p each so that represents a 25% welcome bonus. Wins from the spins are capped at £1 so that's not particularly great either. Unattractive welcome offers can be overcome but if the internal product isn't top notch then that doesn't help either. Other than the no wagering aspect, The Real Money Network isn't much different from it's original counterpart in terms of bingo rooms - and the options as well as player promotions have declined. Even free bingo was dropped!
