Lucky Pence Bingo Review
Lucky Pence Bingo launched in August 2019 on the Dragonfish platform from the same company behind Moon and Robin Hood. The premise behind the brand is cheap and bargain games starting at just a penny. This idea has been done before with both Cheeky and Fancy launching originally as penny bingo brands. There are 1p tickets to purchase at Lucky Pence as well as plenty of other exciting games. However the big headline for this brand was it's massive welcome offer for new players.
Introducing Lucky Pence Bingo
The Lucky Pence Bingo site is a standard design with the welcome offer dominating the homepage and featured games below. An obligatory young lady can be seen holding a bingo ball over one eye and standing in front of a huge penny. Her tshirt reads "turn 1p into millions" which we find a little concerning. As far as we're aware no bingo site offers 1p games where you can win a million. There is a Self Made Millionaire game but tickets for that cost £1. In today's stricter UKGC guidelines we'd have thought that such claims would be avoided.
Lucky Pence Welcome Offer
Whilst their tshirt slogans might be questionable the welcome offer at Lucky Pence initially was incredible. For a £5 deposit players could receive a 100% bonus and 65 bingo tickets! As of April 2020 - just after we complete our review - the offer changed and now it's 300% plus 3 Jackpot Spins. The good news is that the minimum deposit is still £5 although the maximum is just a tenner. Wagering terms of x4 (deposit + bonus) apply.
Inside the Lucky Pence lobby you will find 75 and 90 ball bingo rooms. These include Gimme More, Penny Express and Moonalicious. Ticket prices start at 1p but typically expect to pay 5p and 10p on most games. Free bingo is part of the package at Lucky Pence. New players can access The Biggie room for free bingo games for the first three days after registration - no deposit is required. Access to the other free rooms like The Grand, The Ultra and The Supreme you'll need to be a depositor. As far as we're aware Lucky Pence doesn't have 52 ball bingo.
Lucky Pence Promotions
Although there doesn't seem to be 52 ball bingo, there are a number of jackpot rooms. These can be found under the Mega Jackpot tab within the lobby. The rooms available are Mystery Jackpot, 777 Jackpot, Money Penny, Bingo X Multiplier and Self Made Millionaire. Of these only Money Penny fits the Lucky Pence theme of 1p bingo games! Self Made Millionaire does give you the chance to win a million pound although this is a sliding jackpot game so the chances of winning big are quite remote. Note that all these jackpots are shared with other sites in the Moon Bingo group.
We'd like to tell you that Lucky Pence has loads of exciting player promotions, but we can't. Look under My Offers within the lobby and the only offer is the welcome bonus. There is a games vouchers and bingo vouchers section (top right of the lobby) so we anticipate that Lucky Pence will dish out other rewards at some time. Our advice is to keep your eye on any emails or text messages for any current promotions.
Slots are naturally a part of every bingo brand these days and Lucky Pence are no exception. The slots section does boast a Penny Slots tab. Amongst the penny slots you will find Starburst, Fluffy Favourites, Temple Of Iris, Rainbow Riches, Piggy Riches and a handful of other Eyecon Games titles. However it should be noted that you can usually only play one line of these multi payline slots for a penny. In our view calling them Penny Slots is stretching the truth slightly.
Usually a new Dragonfish bingo brand isn't that exciting these days. In terms of bingo and slots Lucky Pence doesn't add anything that players haven't already seen. We like the penny bingo angle but do feel the "turn 1p into millions" and "penny slots" are stretching the truth somewhat. However the big reason for visiting Lucky Pence and perhaps signing up was the substantial welcome offer. Although this has now changed to a more moderate offer it's still well worth a look.
