What Are The Tau Gaming Bingo Sites?
Up until April 2024 if you played at one of the Real Bingo Network sites on Dragonfish (now Broadway Gaming) then you were more than likely playing on a site owned by Tau Gaming. Tau Gaming are a company who owned a number of gambling brands across various platforms. Originally this group launched with the likes of Hunky Bingo and Zinger Bingo, both of which started life with wagering terms like any other brand on Dragonfish. However it is within the no wagering sphere that Tau looked to dominate by regularly launching new brands like Queen Bee, Cracker, Blighty and Bonnie. However things started to change when new additions such as Dinky and Tickety launched as standard Dragonfish brands. Hunky then became a no wagering brand only for it to switch back again whilst Zinger ended up closing down. Was this a sign of things to come? Network exclusives within this group were very limited - in fact we don't think they ever had an exclusive - and when Broadway Gaming took over the Dragonfish platform the expansion of this stable with new brands stopped.
Site Closures
In 2023 we started to see Tau Gaming bingo brands close down on the Dragonfish platform. Dinky, Tickety and Pizazz Bingo closed their doors and were quickly followed by Cracker Bingo, Bounce Bingo and Queen Bee Bingo. Initially it did appear as though Tau were streamlining their operations and focusing on creating a few "super" brands such as Bonnie Bingo. However in March 2024 it was annouced that Quality Bingo, Blighty Bingo, Yay Bingo, Mint Bingo, Hunky Bingo and Bonnie Bingo plus Amber Spins, Electric Spins and Rise Casino - all of which represented Tau's last brands with Dragonfish/Broadway would be changing hands. We believe, although it's unconfirmed, that all were purchased by Broadway Gaming. As far as we're aware all the sites that changed hands are still operational. This is little consolation for Tau who lost a large chunk of their business potentially due to a poor product. Whilst Tau offered little in terms of exclusives through their brands to players, the loss of bingo rooms, promotions and jackpots hasn't helped the Broadway Gaming product.
Tau Affiliates Closes
Despite the loss of their entire Dragonfish portfolio, Tau Gaming do still run and own a number of other slot brands. The likes of Kaiser Slots, Atlantic Spins and Jaak Casino can be found on Progress Play and other platforms. Further new brands were promised to affiliates back in March but nothing materialised. With just three active brands it perhaps wasn't a surprise when in August 2024 Tau Gaming announced the closure of their affiliate program. It's unknown whether that also means the end of their Progress Play casino brands or whether they'll continue to run beyond the official affiliate program closure date of 1st October 2024.
