Many of these games are free to play and by getting involved early doors you can potentially win some great prizes either weekly, monthly or by lasting the whole season. We already feature some of these games such as Sky Super 6 and more recently William Hill's Final One Standing, but below you'll find our comprehensive list for this season including a brief overview of how to enter and the prizes on offer.
Sky Super 6
Probably the most famous and most popular results prediction game. Sky's Super 6 requires you to predict the scores for six featured games. You'll get 2 points for a correct results (home win, away win or draw) but get 5 points if you guess the results. Predict all six games correctly and you win the jackpot. This is a guaranteed prize because if after nine rounds the jackpot hasn't been won then the £1million is going to be awarded to the season leader. There are other prizes to be won including a Head to Head game with Jamie Carragher and the overall season leader.
Final One Standing
William Hill's Final One Standing game is a little bit different to most prediction games in that you could potentially be out of the running from week one. In this game you need to pick a team - from a selection of fixtures - who you think will win their match. If you're right you're through to play again, but if not then that's it! Your season is over! The twist to Final One Standing is that you need to select a different team each week which makes things a little tougher. The good news is that there's a £500,000 pot to be won. This prize will be won or shared by the last player(s) left in the competition.

Fantasy Football Games
There are a number of free Fantasy Football games that you can play and some even have decent prizes. Dream Team from The Sun is running again this year and there's a top prize of £60,000 if you finish the season at the top of the league. This season's game is sponsored by Midnite. The Telegraph's Fantasy League game is also back with weekly, monthly and overall season prizes. The player who wins the whole season picks up £5000. For sheer scale you might like to get involved with The Premier League's Fantasy Game which also has a whole bunch of prizes including a 7 Day Football Break for the overall winner. There's also Fantasy Challenge where you can play against friends, set up leagues and throw in some twists and turns as well.
Daily Mail Predictor
Whilst The Sun and The Telegraph are opting for Fantasy Football, The Daily Mail are jumping on the prediction bandwagon. Daily Mail Predictor is like Sky's Super 6 but with 7 games and a smaller prize. You need to match all seven results from the selected games to win £1000. Whilst this isn't the most attractive prize amongst most of the above, there is also a season long prize of £5000 to the overall leaderboard winner. That therefore makes it worth dropping in each week and logging your entry.
Other Free Games
In the past we've seen free football games from the likes of 888Sport and BetVictor. The former still has a section for their Up For 8 Game but it's not active despite the new season just a few days away. BetVictor have no sign of any free to play game. It's a similar story at Betfair whilst Paddy Power do have Beat The Drop and Elimination, the latter is relatively new - free to play - but focuses on horse racing, much like Pick 7 that's powered by Sky and featured on ITV Racing. There are a lot of other UK sites that offer sports betting such as Copybet, Spreadex, Midnite and Kwiff but they don't tend to offer free to play games. However if anything changes over the course of the season then we'll update here and - for brands who support working with all affiliates - on the promotions pages.
