Mega Money Live Launches At Mecca Bingo

At the start of May we told you that Tombola were the latest online bingo brand to start offering live shows as part of their roster. They follow in the footsteps of Gala Bingo, The Sun Bingo and others who have trod the live bingo path. However none have quite captured the live bingo experience like Buzz who not only utilise live presenters interacting with the game but have combined club and online games to enhance the bingo experience. However Buzz are no longer alone in the club and online live bingo department. Mecca Bingo - who are no stranger to streaming lives - are running Mega Money Live in their clubs and across their websites for the first time in June.
What Is Mega Money Live?
According to Mecca Bingo, they're your only "Friday Night Bingo Destination" as they bring you live called bingo straight from the club and streamed to you online. They say that you will be able to feel the real time energy of their expert callers and experience the real club atmosphere. Mega Money Live will play at Mecca Bingo at 8.40pm on the 6th June 2025 but the room will be open for online players from 8pm. We're not sure if they'll be any games running in that room before 8.40pm. The 8.40pm game is the club and online special. It's a 90 ball game that offers £5000 for 1L, £10000 for 2L and £20000 for the full house. Tickets cost 10p each and are available to pre-buy. The maximum available tickets to be bought are 120. The game promises to be a busy one because at time of writing nearly 1700 players have already purchased tickets.
Exciting Times For Live Bingo Fans
We expect that the arrival of Mega Money Live will encourage other platforms to look at their own live experiences. Mecca Bingo and Buzz Bingo naturally have an advantage over their competitors in that they have established bingo clubs - so the marry up of clubs and online makes a lot of sense. Those bingo brands without clubs, such as Tombola, The Sun Bingo and Gala perhaps need to look at whether the live experience enhances their current games. Most certainly they won't want to be losing players to their rivals. That said Buzz Bingo's live games aren't all linked into clubs so perhaps it'll come down to the presenters and games on offer if the live bingo sector really kicks off across multiple brands. It'll be interesting to see how Mecca develop their live bingo experience. Will they limit themselves to just one jackpot big game a month or will they go all out and copy Buzz's live bingo roster? It's definitely something to keep an eye on and brings some much needed interest into the sector.

Friday June 6th promises to be a busy evening for Mecca Bingo. Not only is there the introduction to Mega Money Live, but there's also another big money game running.
