It's a fair observation to say that online bingo has been a little bit in the doldrums over the last few years. The number of sites, bonuses, prizes and promotions have dropped and at times there's been little to get excited about. The integrity of some brands has also been under the spotlight. How To Play The £100K Big One
The £100K Big One will take place at 10pm on the 29th December across Virtue Fusion/Playech powered brands such as Buzz Bingo, Mecca Bingo, William Hill Bingo, Fabulous Bingo, Sun Bingo and Betfred Bingo. We did check Sky, Paddy Power and Betfair but couldn't see whether they were also involved. Tickets are available to purchase now from the sites previously mentioned and cost just 10p each. You can purchase up to 100 tickets for the game at one site and it looks as though it's going to be very popular with over 10,000 players already involved. The £100K Big One is a 90 ball game and it'll pay out £2500 for one line, £7500 for two lines and £75,000 for the full house. This game has a roll on feature too - which means the calls keep on coming after the full house - and this will generate 6 x £2500 winners. It promises to be an epic night across the network and it'll be interesting to see how it goes.
£250,000 Guaranteed Full House
At the moment we don't know whether this is a one off or if it'll become a new feature across the various sites. We guess if it's popular then Virtue Fusion will consider running it again and again, much like Gala and Foxy currently do. Another big money game that is back on the menu is Tombola's Britain's Biggest Bingo. This returned after a few months hiatus on November 28th when 'ryancornwall' won £156,528. Whilst this is a considerable prize it wasn't as large as the first ever Britain's Biggest Bingo game jackpot (£239,168) although it is up on the last one Tombola ran in June. We can't find details of that particular jackpot but the May prize was £111,246. In our view the November 2022 prize was boosted by initial interest and money from Free Fivers. The next game will take place on 2nd January and has a £250,000 guaranteed full house. We suspect that a lot of players will jump on board for this one and use any bonuses that they may have accrued from playing the advent calendar during December!
The Best Big Money Bingo Game?
Each of the big money games have their own positives and negatives. For the biggest full house prize Tombola is the place to go but by the same token tickets are the most expensive and there are no additional prizes. It's also a pretty boring playing experience. Obviously Virtue Fusion's The £100K Big One is the new kid on the block and there's no guarantee it'll run monthly. However tickets are reasonably cheap at 10p, the full house is £75,000 and there are extra prizes on offer. Hopefully the brands involve will help create an event around the promotion. Entain's £150K Game is also available to play for 10p a ticket but offers a full house prize of £100K. There are also bigger 1L and 2L prizes, a few roll-ons and a pot for 1TG players. It's also the game that's so far ran consistently (no summer breaks here). Perhaps the best approach is to purchase tickets for each although if had to purchase tickets for just one then it'd be a toss up between Virtue Fusion and Entain. Tombola's big money game is attractive but we'd prefer to see a smaller full house pot alongside other prizes.
