Play Free Bug Match & The Banker's Bonus
This Promotion Ends On 31st December 2023 - Article Published On 20th November 2023
I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here 2023 has kicked off what could well be it's most controversial series to date. Aside from the fact that there's a distinct lack of celebrities, there's also the small matter of Nigel Farage. Apparently the former leader of The Brexit Party is being paid £1.5million to spend some time in the jungle and convince the viewing public that he's not such a bad guy after all. His presence has seen many people take to social media to say they're not watching this series, that they're boycotting the show and even naming the presents and sponsors of IACGMOOH as complicit in helping promote brand Farage. One of those sponsors is Tombola who are running a series of promotions including free Bug Match and Tombola Bugs On TV.
Tombola Bugs On TV
As sponsor of the show Tombola obviously don't have any say in who appears as a campmate, but they could avoid featuring Farage on their social media platform if they so wish. They've already chosen not to as a clip promoting the start of Tombola Bugs on TV sees a number of the so called celebs doing their best bug impressions. Sadly there's no option for Farage to do a snake or weasal impression as we think he'd be pretty good at that. Just in case you're not getting the message we're not big fans. Anyway what is Bug Watch? Well during selected shows Tombola will run a series of prize draws on their social media platforms. On an ad break you'll have a couple of minutes to reply to the prize draw post with your Tombola username and the hashtag #tombolabugsontv. A cash prize will then be awarded to a lucky winner selected at random from all commentators. If you're not a Tombola player then you just need to sign up first.
Play Free Bug Match
Joining Tombola Bugs On TV is the annual free to play Bug Match game. Bug Match is in addition to the ongoing free to play daily games like Super Spin and Free Form. To play Bug Match you just need to login and head to the appropriate page. You'll be presented with a 3x3 grid of closhes and underneath each closh is a bug. The aim of the game is to match three bugs of the same type in order to win a prize. The value of the bugs is as follows: £1000 (Butterfly), £100 (Snail), £20 Bonus (Grub), £5 Bonus (Ant), 10 Free Plays (Green Caterpillar) and 5 Free Plays (Spider). There are some changes to the game from last year including the fact that you only get one play this time round. In previous years you could enjoy a free play of Bug Match on Tombola and Tombola Arcade. Additionally the top prize has been reduced from £5000 to £1000 and the prize pot has been flooded with free plays presumably to make more winners.
The Banker's Bonus
There are other I'm A Celebrity Promotions taking place at Tombola including £10k Bug Links in bingo and Critter Cash in Arcade. Full details of these can be found on the promotion pages at the site. More interesting than Z-List celebs in the Jungle though is a teaser from Tombola about a future new game. The easily recognisable Deal Or No Deal black phone that's used to contact The Banker is shown on a graphic with the words "A Brand New Offer Is Coming Your Way". According to a press release, Tombola are in fact the new sponsors of ITV's Deal Or No Deal reboot featuring Stephen Mulhern at the helm. As part of the sponsorship Tombola will include an exclusive game called The Bankerís Bonus. It'll only be available on the app and offers a top prize of £1000 for a £2 stake. The Banker's Bonus will feature the highest returns to player (RTP) on the market for Deal or No Deal games!
