It seems as though bingo brands are keen to send their players on holiday this June. As we've already mentioned in despatches, The Sun Bingo and Mecca Bingo are dishing out holiday vouchers in a variety of daily giveaways. Joining them in the holiday prize stakes are Betfred who have kicked off a £50,000 holiday giveaway that will run until the end of July. Each week there's a £5000 voucher to spend on your own personalised getaway up for grabs. The ante is upped during the final week when the prize increases to £15,000! Note that this promotion isn't just limited to bingo as it includes wagering on games, casino and vegas but the promotion is sadly only for slots play.
How To Enter The Holiday Giveaway
The Holiday Giveaway runs at Betfred between the 6th June and 31st July 2022. The promotion is split into eight different weekly qualification periods. To earn an entry into the current week's draw you simply need to opt-in via the promotions page. Login, head to the promos page of casino, bingo or games and click the big green button prior to doing any wagering. Players will gain one entry for each £10 staked in real cash on slots at Betfred Games, Casino, Vegas or Bingo. The staking is accumulative so if you spend £2 on slots in the bingo channel and £8 on slots under games then that creates one entry. Wagering on live casino games do not count and it's disappointing that any play on bingo games are also not included. As far as we're aware there's no limit to the number of entries you can earn each week. Entries and wagering do not rollover from week to week.
What Can You Win?
For the first seven of the eight qualification periods the prizes are the same. The top prize is a £5000 holiday that can be used on trips and getaways across the UK and rest of the world. There are runners up prizes on offer too and these are 200 x 50 Free Spins and 1000 x 5 Free Spins. In the final week (25th July to 31st July) the runners up prizes remain the same but the holiday voucher prize increases to £15,000. If you only enter one week of this particular promotion then make sure it's the last week. However there is a small incentive to enter the first week of this offer (6th to the 12th June) and that's because Betfred are giving away 5 free Golden Chips to all players who qualify during that time. Any wins from either the free spins or the golden chips are paid out as cash therefore wagering terms are not applicable.
£1500 Cash Drop
It's disappointing that bingo wagering isn't included in The Holiday Giveaway but there are there any promotions for Betfred Bingo players to get excited about? The answer is yes and no! Between the 6th and 12th June 2022 Betfred Bingo are hosting another of their famous Cash Drop promotions. This sounds great until you read the small print and discover that to qualify you need to do to opt-in and wager on bingo side games. For every £10 staked during the promotional period you will get one entry into the draw. There are no limits to the number of entries you can accrue. At the end of the week £1500 of prizes will be awarded with 1 x £500, 2 x £200, 3 x £100 and 6 x £50 up for grabs. The prize draw will be conducted before 18:30 UK Time on Monday 13th June and winning players will be credited within 24 hours of the draw taking place.
June Free Bingo
On a more positive note for bingo players there is an abundance of free bingo games to enjoy throughout the month. Betfred have three daily promotions: Superbooks Boogie (every hour 12:00 – 17:00) and Superbooks at Night (every half hour 18:00 – 23:36) that both take place in the Mystery Bingo Room. There's also Bargain Super Free Games (every hour 09:00 – 23:00) in the Bargain Lounge. The monthly prize combined across all three promotions is over £5500. By the way Superbooks are free to play games but you can opt to spend money and purchase tickets in order to win bigger prizes. Now whilst free bingo is great we're pretty sure that these games are part of the usual network schedule and therefore not exclusive to Betfred. We can't help feeling a little deflated. A big thumbs up for the £50K Giveaway but we'd love something a bit more inclusive for players spending money on bingo.
