Novibet Adds Bingo Thanks To Pragmatic Play

Pragmatic Play continue to make impressive inroads into the online bingo space with yet another addition to their expanding stable. Not content with launching a bingo channel with Betvictor and powering the new Heart Bingo, they're now teaming up with sports and casino brand Novibet. Players signing up will have access to 30, 75, 80 and 90 ball bingo rooms plus 100s of slots and other gaming options.
Where Is Novibet Bingo?
When you visit Novibet you might not be aware that bingo is now part of the package. This is because - in their infinite wisdom - Novibet have placed the bingo rooms under the interestingly titled Novi Ladies section. Excuse me! Novi Ladies? Are they serious? Novi Ladies apparently is a channel which will (or should) appeal to the ladies. Inside this new channel players can find jackpots, slingo, games that 'Women Prefer', Romance themed slots, Stars & Signs themed slots and of course bingo. The bingo channel consists of the Jackpot Room, Bingo Blast, Boombox, Country Roads and Zoom Room. These are joined by various instant win games like Keno and Pachinko.
Novi Ladies? Really?
We kind of understand the notion of Novi Ladies as after all 888 Ladies exists and there's also been Lucky Ladies Bingo. However all other bookies simply have channels for slots, bingo, sportsbook without splitting content based on gender. In our view it would make sense for Novibet to follow the same format or if they insist on using Novi Ladies then why not launch it as a seperate brand. In our view if you're a lady and you're looking for bingo then you're either going to be happy at a sportsbook brand or not. You don't need a special section. Furthermore don't guys play bingo? Obviously not as there's no link in the 'guys' casino section. Well we presume 'Casino' is for guys as it's not been gendered in the same way as Novi Ladies.
Should You Play At Novibet Bingo?
That aside what about the bingo? The Pragmatic Play platform is popping up on multiple sites and it allows brands like Betvictor, Lottoland, LeoVegas and Novibet to introduce bingo to their audiences with minimal fuss. That's great but what exactly is it offering the player that's different to those brands like Heart and PlayOJO who have taken the platform to the next level? The answer is nothing. It merely gives players who have joined a brand for sportsbook or casino another gaming option without leaving that site. And as a bingo player that's not really good enough. If we were going to spend money on the Pragmatic Play platform then we'd want a brand that runs bingo promotions and exclusive rooms as well as the standard network offers. That puts the likes of Heart and PlayOJO at the top of the list.
It's All Too Samey!
In general everything tends towards chaos, except online bingo which tends to conformity. The former ignite group headed up by Costa are now identical in their offerings; Entain's Gala, Foxy, Ladbrokes and Cheeky are moving towards having the same rooms now that Coronation Street Bingo has opened on all. We have over 200 Jumpman sites, all using Pragmatic Play, and not one is different from the other in terms of bingo. Those brands - mostly owned by Stride Gaming - that survived the Cozy Games cull and relaunched have done so on Dragonfish. And yes they're all the same as well. Heart Bingo at least provides a glimmer of hope but sadly unique brands struggle to get numbers as is evident at MrQ who have really reduced their bingo offering. Unfortunately bingo has just got far too samey.
Will Novibet Bingo Change Anything?
In our view Novibet Bingo or Novi Ladies isn't going to excite the bingo world. Ignoring the fact that they don't want to pitch the game at men who obviously only bet on sports and enjoy casino games, they're offering nothing new. And here's the thing - they're probably never going to offer anything new. Bingo for a brand like Novibet is simply a plug-in extra alongside the latest slots and slingo games. There's nothing wrong with the product and those who choose to play via the site will no doubt enjoy the experience. But there are better options and if Novibet wants bingo to be a big part of the Novi Ladies experience then they need to be making a much bigger effort.
