Drop Pots Jackpots Are Launched By Pragmatic Play

Pragmatic Play have established themselves as an important bingo platform in a very short amount of time. Their plugin product powers bingo games on a series of sites including those on Jumpman and Nektan. In addition they provide bingo rooms on established brands like PlayOJO, Butlers Bingo, Betvictor and Heart Bingo - which will be relaunched later this week! Pragmatic Play now hope to enhance the player experience with the launch of a new feature called Drop Pots. This new dedicated bingo room will give players the chance to win one of three progressive jackpots.
What Are Drop Pots
The three progressives that can be won in Drop Pots are called mini, midi and maxi. They can all be won in different ways. According to Pragmatic Play the Mini Drop Pot is able to be won multiple times daily through incrementing the ball call. The Midi Drop Pot can be won more than once a day by staying at a specified ball call until a certain time and offers a significantly increased chances of winning during the promotional period. The Maxi Drop Pot is guaranteed to be won once a day, at a specific time. Once this drops, the value will reset in preparation of the next day's game. The pots start at £10, £300 and £700 respectively (based on the jackpots available at time of writing on PlayOJO).

At the moment we can only see the Drop Pots room at PlayOJO as pre-buy is available for when the room opens on the 23rd September. We suspect other brands will add the Drop Pots room in due course.
Must Drop Jackpots
Players who are familar with slots will be well aware that must drop jackpots aren't new. And they're not new in bingo either. Jackpotjoy for example have Powerbolts comprising a Maxi and Mini Bolt Jackpot as part of their Sapphire Bingo room. The Maxi, which is a network jackpot, can be won once per day whilst the Mini, which is site specific, can be won multiple times a day. Must Drop Jackpots also crop up in 90's Extreme, Chatterbox and Even Stevens on the Dragonfish platform. From what we can gather the jackpots aren't available all the time and there doesn't seem to be much details about them on the likes of Chit Chat Bingo for example.
Our Verdict
The imminent relaunch of Heart Bingo and the arrival of Drop Pots is another exciting chapter in the Pragmatic Play bingo story. Hopefully the Drop Pots room won't be limited to just PlayOJO. The more players who are able to access the games then the higher the value of the daily pots. We like the idea of Drop Pots and have no doubt they will add to the player experience, but we're not sure they are "thrilling". What would be thrilling is if Pragmatic Play came up with something new and different - something that we've not seen before. Tombola can manage do it so why can't other platforms?
