Pots Of Luck Review
PotsOfLuck Casino launched in 2016 on the then Nektan platform. It offered players access to a wide range of slots and eventually added bingo to it's roster. Sadly the Nektan platform hit difficulties and that resulted in PotsOfLuck Bingo and Casino closing down. However thanks to ProgressPlay and Digital Rush the brand has been given a new lease of life. There's no bingo (at the moment) but players to the new site can play 100s of slots, casino games, live casino games and even bet on sports. Will this new home for PotsOfLuck be luckier than their first and will the luck of the Irish be with you if you choose to play here?
Introducing Pots Of Luck
The original Pots Of Luck casino site had a strong Irish theme and was dominated by a happy looking leprechaun who was named Seamus. Surprisingly Seamus managed to hold steadfast under UKGC rules and gave the brand some much needed character. However he didn't manage to survive the transition from Nektan to ProgressPlay and the only constant between the two platforms is the name and logo. The new site looks like every other version of a ProgressPlay casino with the welcome offer dominating proceedings and a whole slew of slots being featured below. To tie in the Irish theme we have an emerald(ish) green backgound! The site has been designed to work on mobile, tablet and desktop. No apps are required to play on Apple or Androud devices.
Pots Of Luck Welcome Offer
New players to PotsOfLuck Casino are welcomed with a 100% first deposit bonus up to £200. Register, login and deposit a minimum of £10 to qualify for the bonus. A wagering term of x50 applies but wagering contribution varies from game to game. This offer is standard for all brands that use the ProgressPlay platform although you may get some variation (e.g. lower matched deposit but some free spins). However the wagering terms are the same throughout. Some platforms, for example Broadway Gaming, limit you to one account across the network. However ProgressPlay are a little more generous and allow players to sign up to a maximum of five brands. Other brands in the network include Sin Spins, Dazzle Casino, Casinomite, Scorching Slots and Jazzy Spins
Featured Slots & Games
PotsOfLuck Casino boasts a selection of slots from many top providers. Popular slots include Big Bass Bonanza, Walking Dead Cash Collect, Big Bad Wolf Live, Aviator, Le Bandits, Frutiopia. Madame Destiny Megaways, Big Banking Bonanza, Rick Wilde & The Book Of Dead, Electric Flamingo and Mammoth Gold. Slots can be found via various tabs including new, featured, favourites and by provider. A search option is also available. Providers include NetEnt, Core Gaming, Thunderkick and Eyecon Games. The slots are joined by a handful of progressive jackpots. Live Casino options powered by Evolution Gaming and Net Entertainment are also available alongside roulette and blackjack. Instant wins plus game shows such as Dream Catcher, Adventures In Wonderland and Buffalo Blitz Live are also available. Disappointingly there isn't a selection of Irish themed slots that helped make the original site standout.
Player Promotions
Player promotions at PotsOfLuck are network based, something which seems to be standard for every casino these days. Regular offers include bonus spins for making deposits and weekend cashback on roulette and slots. These kind of promotions are welcome but remember that all bonuses come with a x50 wagering term. Occasionally you will find a slots tournament or a prize promotion running too although these seem to have became rarer over time. ProgressPlay brands do have a rewards programme. Players can earn points by trying out a new game, claiming a bonus, or triggering a specific feature on a slot. Levels and trophies can also be attained via wagering. Rewards can then be converted to bonuses but again these will come with wagering terms.
Our Verdict
Our original review of Pots Of Luck concluded with us saying that they had an "impressive mix of slots that are well organised. The lack of casino games is disappointing but the bingo is a welcome addition". Today they still have an impressive mix of slots plus a good selection of casino and live casino games. There's no bingo though but there are sportsbook options. As with other sites on this platform there are issues to consider. Firstly the x50 wagering terms and quite high - reasonable compared to Jumpman's x65 but higher than Broadway Gaming's x30. Of course there are sites that run with no wagering requirements. There's also a processing fee set at 1% up to £3 per withdrawal to pay when you want to take out any winnings. It's not as bad as Jumpman's £2.50 flat rate but still worth noting. PotsOfLuck doesn't have a good Trustpilot rating although most of the complaints refer to it's previous guise.
