New Homes For Dragonfish Bingo Brands

Earlier in the month we told you that another bunch of Dragonfish brands, namely those owned by Maxi Affiliates, were about to close their doors and/or change hands. The time has come for those changes to be implemented. Originally it looked as though all the bingo brands would be closing on Dragonfish and relaunching on another platform but that isn't the case. Just a few sites will remain under the Maxi Affiliates umbrella whilst the rest will be moving to a new stable that's currently occupied by Bingo Loft and Fantastic Spins. Both of those brands are still operating on the Dragonfish/Broadway platform so it may well mean other sites continue to function rather than close down. Read on to discover what exactly is happening.

Jazzy Spins Joins ProgressPlay

Just three brands are remaining with Maxi Affiliates and these are ChitChat Bingo, UK Bingo and Jazzy Spins. All three have now closed on the Broadway platform but Jazzy has wasted no time whatsoever in finding a new home. Visitors to JazzySpins.com will now find themselves on a ProgressPlay casino platform. It's not a platform we like but somehow it still manages to attract players. New players can sign up to claim a 100% bonus up to £100 (Wager from real balance first. 50x wager the bonus. Contribution varies per game). The two bingo properties haven't been as quick to transfer to new platforms. Instead both state that they'll be "moving to a new, improved Bingo environment with more of everything: more bingo games, competitions and tournaments, jackpot games, new slots, fast payouts, and more exciting bonuses". Our money is on both ChitChat and UK Bingo ending up on Jumpman which is fine but perhaps not an as exciting proposition as the site statements aim to suggest.

Staying With Broadway?

So what of Pink Ribbon Bingo, BingoZino, Bid Bingo, Bingo Ireland, Lovehearts Bingo, Loadsa Bingo, and Bingo Barmy? Well these brands have all been sold to the same company who now run Bingo Loft and Fantastic Spins. The change of ownership kicks in from the 1st June and from what we can see all sites are currently active, accepting registrations and very much still part of the Dragonfish/Broadway platform. Whether that remains the case in the coming months remains to be seen but we don't envisage many changes. There may be some updates with branding but otherwise it'll be business as usual. Out of this collection of brands we think that Pink Ribbon is probably the best brand, although it also has to be the bingo site with the most owners having been sold on multiple times now (Chit Chat might give it a run for it's money mind). We wonder whether it's USP of making donations to charity and supporting Breast Cancer will get back to the forefront of the site's existence?

Interesting Times Ahead Or Not?

Sadly whatever happens to this clutch of brands we're not expecting any seismic shifts in the world of online bingo. The brands staying with the Broadway platform aren't exactly A-Listers like Gala, Mecca and Buzz. Instead they're bang average brands on a platform that's not exactly pulling up trees bingo wise. A nice new site design for any of Pink Ribbon and co isn't going to improve the overall product for players so it's hard to see any change in their current trajectories. ChitChat is probably the closest to a decent brand in this group but can it successfully navigate yet another relaunch? Jumpman looks to be the obvious destination. To be honest a relaunch on a new platform sounds a better choice than sticking with the old one that's doing nothing other than closing rooms and ditching jackpots. However it does then mean ChitChat becoming the same as many many other brands on Jumpman (assuming that is it's final destination). Unless there's intention to stand out from the crowd then they might as well not bother relaunching.
