William Hill Bonus Drop Gets A Revamp

The Bonus Drop at William Hill was one of the first daily free to play games to be offered by online slots and bingo sites. This simple coin drop game offers players the chance to win cash prizes, bonuses and free spins. However back in October 2022 we wrote an article saying that we felt it was high time the game was overhauled. Having played it continuously over a few weeks and comparatively to the likes of Ladbrokes' Instant Spins and Coral's Rewards Grabber it had become notable that The Bonus Drop just wasn't as rewarding. In fact it didn't offer anything and had reached a point of why bother playing? Well there's good news because it looks like The Bonus Drop is back on form.
A Revamped Bonus Drop
We're not 100% but we're fairly sure that The Bonus Drop game has had a little bit of a makeover. The original blue, pink and purple design has been upgraded to a gold and purple look. The game mechanic however remains the same in that you drop your coin from one of three positions (left, right, centre) and then see where it ends up after it traverses through pins to the bottom of the gameplay area. Where the coin lands, cash, bonus or no win, determines your prize (or lack of). The big issue we had with The Bonus Drop and why we thought it was time it had a revamp was due to the lack of wins. Coincidentally since William Hill have upgraded the game we've noted that wins from daily plays are much more frequent. These wins are always for five free spins on a highlighted slot but it's better than nothing. We still wonder if anyone ever wins a cash prize though!
5 Free Spins
Another point we raised about the lack of wins on The Bonus Drop was that William Hill Vegas were regularly dishing out five free spins on selected slots. In our view this made the free daily game largely redundant as it became pointless playing it just to discover you'd won nothing. Now with a revamped Bonus Drop you can win free spins on that game plus still pick up free spins in other promotions that seem to run every other day on Vegas. This makes William Hill well worth checking out if you like picking up free spins. Terms and conditions do apply however so do make sure you're aware of them. All wins are paid in cash so no wagering terms apply. The great thing about these kind of promotions, other than you can potentially win, is that it's gives you a chance to try new slots that perhaps you'd not usually try. At time of writing the latest featured game was Fire & Roses Joker, a five reel slot with 720 paylines that pay in both directions.
William Hill Bingo
Whilst we're happy to see The Bonus Drop getting back to top form, the same can't be said for William Hill Bingo. During 2022 William Hill decided to move bingo and poker under the Vegas channel. There are now better links to both channels on the site's main navigation but we do think that bingo is still being stifled. If you drop into the bingo section you'll find the various rooms but there aren't any bingo player promotions of note. Most certainly there aren't any exclusives and we're pretty sure there haven't been any for some time. New players still aren't offered any kind of welcome bonus either. Sadly William Hill aren't the only brand who have watered down their bingo offering. In it's hey day we could tell you about one big promotion a day over an entire month. Now it's a struggle to find brands doing just one exclusive monthly offer. Thankfully we are seeing exciting promos at Mecca Bingo (Loose Women), Buzz Bingo (Live Bingo & Win Holidays) and Heart Bingo (101 Holidays Promo). Wouldn't it be great if other bingo brands, including William Hill, could follow suit?
