Play Housey Bingo - 52 Ball Bingo
Published On 11th January 2021
Tombola launched their Cinco game many many years ago. This version of bingo used a 52 playing card deck instead of numbers. Dragonfish finally jumped on this bandwagon a couple of years ago with their Flash Fives room that launched on 888 Ladies or Bingo Vegas as it's known at Costa Bingo. Playtech/Virtue Fusion have obviously decided it needs it's own version of a playing card game and they've now launched Housey Bingo on Sun Bingo.

How To Play Housey Bingo
Housey Bingo is a 52 ball bingo game that uses playing cards instead of numbers. Each player is "dealt" a hand of five playing cards and these make up the bingo ticket. Cards are then called and if you match a call your ticket is marked off with a chip. The aim of the game is to match all five cards in your hand in order to get a full house. A progressive Housey Jackpot is the only other prize and this can be won if the full house is called in 9 calls or less. Players can purchase a maximum of five tickets for each game of Housey Bingo. Ticket prices range from 5p to 40p. Use the tab at the bottom left of the bingo room to set your ticket price. We found that the option to choose your ticket price was very unclear.
Progessive Jackpots
No matter which price per ticket you decide to play all players will take part in the same game. The full house prize will vary depending on the ticket price. As far as we're aware the progressive jackpot prize remains the same whether you play 5p or 40p a ticket. As mentioned this jackpot will fall if house is called in 9 calls or less. If the progressive jackpot is won then the prize is split 50/50 between the winner and roomies playing at the time of the win. When the progressive falls it's reset to £500. Finally to mix things up the games do vary so for example look out for 1TG variations.
Our Verdict
Housey Bingo isn't a new concept but it's good to see the 52 ball game being given as an option on another platform. Graphically we think that Tombola's Cinco is still the better game, even though it was launched in 2009. Cinco also offers bigger jackpots (£10,000 for a full house in 5 calls) but Housey does allow up to 9 calls for their progressive versus 7 on Tombola. It'll be interesting to see if Housey becomes as popular as Cinco and whether it'll remain exclusive to Sun Bingo.
