Summary Of Bingo.com
Originally a US based site, Bingo.com crossed over to the UK when online gambling became a bit of an issue Stateside. Since then they're had more platforms than Clapham Junction. Starting life on Aberrant Software they tried Cozy Games before joining The Maria Bingo Network on Virtue Fusion. In 2015 Bingo.com, Unibet and Maria created their own platform with Relax Gaming. Today it's a sister site to Unibet Bingo and features a handful of 75 ball and 90 ball bingo rooms as well as the unique Hexabingo game.
Discover Bingo.com
The various platform changes haven't really helped Bingo.com, but they're now firmly established with Relax Gaming. The site is simple looking with pastel shades of blue being used to highlight the bold red of the logo. An abundance of dogs that bizarrely occupied an old incarnation of the website have now gone. Thankfully the lady in a pantry that used to highlight the welcome offer and did nothing to suggest bingo is a younger person's pastime has also gone. Despite it's name slots actually dominate the homepage! Players can enjoy Bingo.com on mobile, tablet and desktop - no app is required.
Bingo.com Welcome Bonus
New players to Bingo.com are welcomed with a 200% first deposit bonus. Register, login and deposit £10 to claim a £30 bonus. The wagering requirement for this bonus is 40 times in order to redeem any bonus winnings. In our view this is quite high. We understand x40 for a games bonus but not for bingo. New players also have access to the exclusive newbie room, Beginners Luck, after registration. This newbie room used to offer free bingo games - and may still do so - but Bingo.com provide no information whatsoever about it. At time of writing Beginner's Luck was open but only for pay to play games. You can only play 75 ball bingo games in the newbie room which is a surprise especially as most UK players enjoy 90 ball games.
Bingo Rooms
Login to Bingo.com and you will find 90 and 75 ball games. These include The Grand, The Mystery, Supersonic, Glamour Hall and Flash. Note that Bingo.com does attract European visitors so you may find some of the prizes and ticket costs are displayed in Euros. The site also shares rooms with it's sister brand at Unibet Bingo. Considering Bingo.com isn't on the usual Dragonfish or Virtue Fusion platforms the bingo rooms are quite active. Ticket prices start from around 5p and there are decent sized pots and jackpots on offer. The highlight of the lobby for us is the unique Hexabingo which is a 3 player game that mixes poker and bingo. It's an exciting innovation that offers prizes up to £100,000 but it's not the cheapest to play.
Featured Slots
Slots players are very well catered for at Bingo.com. In fact it's safe to say that the brand is more aimed at slots than bingo. A casino and live casino section gives access to top slots and games such as Starburst, Slingo Megaways slots and big money progressives like Mega Moolah and Wowpot. Slots are provided from multiple operators including Red Tiger, Pragmatic Play, Microgaming, BTG, Relax Gaming and Thunderkick. Inside the Live Casino you'll find game shows Crazy Time, Mega Wheel, Mega Ball, Cash Or Cash and Dream Catcher. If you like slot races and/or tournaments then you'll find some to play here but in our view you'll find a lot more at Unibet Casino.
Bingo.com Promotions
Player promotions can be found under Bingo Offers and whilst there are a number available the majority are slots orientated. The rest just don't seem that attractive. For example you can earn a £3 voucher on Top Up Tuesday but only if you wager £30. That seems an expensive qualifier. Bingo Tournaments are also slots orientated. When you play at the site you can earn points which can get you a spin of the Bingo Wheel. This offer gives you the chance to win slots spins, turns on Hexabingo or cash. There's no indication regarding how much you'd need to play in order to spin the wheel. As mentioned above there is a Beginner's Luck room but details about the room are not provided.
Our Verdict
If the 14 day free trial for new players is still available then this makes Bingo.com worth checking out. If it isn't - and the site really fails when it comes to providing useful information - then should you join? The positives are that it's on a different platform to many other brands plus it has the very intriguing Hexabingo. Beyond that, despite it's name, Bingo.com is more slots orientated coupled with some seriously hefty wagering terms for new players. If you are looking at the Relax Gaming platform as an option then in our view Unibet is the better of the two sites to choose. Bingo.com could and should be better given it's pedigree.
