Following quickly in the footsteps of Heart Bingo, who recently relaunched on the Virtue Fusion/Playtech platform are Smooth Spins. This is the official gambling product of Smooth Radio and follows in the footsteps of Smooth Bingo that popped up in 2019, won a best bingo site award, and then shut down when Global Media signed up with BVGroup and left Gamesys/Bally's. Essentially what you have with Smooth Spins is an identikit site of Heart but with emphasis more on slots and live casino than on bingo. You can still enjoy bingo here though as there are a bunch of 75, 80 and 90 ball rooms plus popular titles such as Cash Cubes Bingo, Clover Rollover, Bouncy Balls, Fluffy Favourites and Deal Or No Deal. Plus of course there are plenty of slots and a whole bunch of spin the wheel related promotions.
Introducing Smooth Spins
We called Heart Bingo a simple but stylish looking site and Smooth Spins is no different. Instead of the familiar red of Heart within the navigation, it's the familiar purple of Smooth that dominates the colour palette. The bulk of the homepage is dominated by the welcome offer and other promotions. Hot picks, featured bingo rooms, top slots and live game shows complete the homepage. It looks great on mobile, tablet and desktop - no app is required. If you didn't know that Smooth Spins was associated with Smooth Radio then there's little here to immediately connect the two together. However it's only at login, when you discover you can login with your Global Media iD that the connection is truly made. In the old days both Heart and Smooth had links to the radio station so you could listen along whilst playing!!
Smooth Spins Welcome Bonus
New players to Smooth Spins are offered a bonus package after making an initial deposit and wagering. Our Verdict
Sadly the days of churning out the same thing but with a different name just don't seem to want to leave the slots and bingo sector. Whilst Smooth Spins is tipped more towards slots and live casino, it's simply just Heart Bingo - and if you're not a fan of that brand or it's new platform then there's nothing here that'll change your mind. There are no exclusive slots or anything that makes it stand out in a crowded market. However it is a new site and players may like the chance to get a new welcome offer - although be wary of the x35 wagering term (or hold on a few months until it's required to be lower by The UKGC) and maybe drop in on the newbie bingo room - which was actually empty when we looked in. Sadly due to circumstances beyond our control we're not partnered with this brand although this doesn't impinge on our overall view.
