Bingo Loft Review
Bingo Loft is the latest brand that aims to revive it's fortunes under new ownership. The brand actually started life in 2011 as Big Brother Bingo before adopting the Loft moniker in 2015. It was part of the same stable as Posh, Redbus and Tasty. Unfortunately due to market changes, different owners and uncertain futures these brands were pretty much left to get on with things by 888. Bingo Loft was acquired by Broadway Gaming as part of their deal for the Dragonfish platform, but Loft has now moved on to new owners. It still remains part of the Broadway platform but has benefitted from a much needed overhaul. This means that it still offers 75 ball and 90 ball games alongside top slots but is this plus a revamped look enough to bring in the players?
Introducing Bingo Loft
In it's previous life Bingo Loft didn't change design and quickly looked dated. Under it's new owners the site and logo has had an overhaul to provide a more modern look. In truth it's a very generic bingo/slots brand design that's been put together to keep the UKGC folks happy. That means there are no quirky graphics or anything that would pertain towards "Loft" or "Attic". Instead there are a few images of ladies cheering and pulling party poppers. Those images are set within a predominently purple palette with a few clouds thrown in for good measure. Those clouds are probably the only remnant from the old site. Bingo Loft is now mobile friendly but no app is required to access and play.
Bingo Loft Welcome Offer
New players are welcomed into Bingo Loft with a 200% welcome bonus plus some spins. Register as a new player, login and make a deposit to claim the bonus. The bingo bonus will be credited in BB funds to your bingo bonus bankroll. Bingo Bonus funds may be played on bingo games only. The spins are awarded in groups of 20 over a period of 3 days (maximum 60 spins) and any wins from these spins are paid as a game bonus. The spins can only be used on Fluffy Favourites and the maximum win per spin is 25p. This means the max win from the spins is £15 but it'll more than likely be a less as you won't win 25p on every turn. Wagering terms do apply and in this case you'll find a x4 concern for bingo bonuses and x35 for games bonuses. This is standard across all Broadway Gaming powered sites.
It used to be the case that you could enjoy a few days of free bingo as a new player on Dragonfish brands. The Newbie Room has since been replaced by Grab A Fiver which is a 90 ball networked room that offers the chance to win a £5 bingo bonus. As far as we know Grab A Fiver is open to all players but you may have limited access if you've not deposited. Games take place every 30 minutes. The free 90 ball game offers a £1 bonus for 1L, £1 bonus for 2L and £3 bonus for the full house. Bingo Loft does have free bingo that's open to depositors. Most Loyal and Long Term Loyalty are open to players who registered at least two years ago and who have also made a deposit within the last 14 days. The games are daily and offer prizes of £20 and £10 respectively.
The Bingo Rooms
Bingo Loft uses the now standard Broadway Gaming lobby. This was revamped by Dragonfish before acquisition and it's not the best. That's not the fault of the brand. Bingo rooms can be found spread across various tabs that could be better in description. The main rooms include Easy Peasy (75 ball), Top Of The Shop (90 ball), Mystery Jackpot (75 ball) and Bingo Deal (52 ball). Ticket prices are typically 5p and 10p but frustratingly Broadway Gaming still haven't implemented any kind of pre-buy options. The number of rooms also feels quite light. Top Of The Shop is the main 90 ball room and it has a progressive jackpot that's currently over £15,000 (November 2023) however at time of writing there weren't that many players. The busiest room was in fact The YoYo with just 17 roomies - and remember that this is across an entire network.
Bingo Loft Slots
Slots are obviously a natural addition to any bingo brand these days. You'll find the main games under a series of tabs including new releases but the search box is your friend if you're looking for specifics such as Slingo and Megaways. Top slots include Fluffy Favourites, Big Bass Bonanza, Fishin Frenzy, Rainbow Riches, Fruit Blast, Eye Of Horus and The Goonies. As far as we know there are no casino games or live casino game shows which is pretty disappointing. If you like jackpot slots then there are options but they do seem to be mainly Eyecon Games orientated so expect to see Mega Jackpot and Super Jackpot slots for the likes of Fluffy Favourites and multiple derivatives of the popular game. Note that some slots are real money only which means you can't play bonuses on them.
Bingo Loft Promotions
One of the biggest frustrations with the new Broadway Gaming platform is that player promotions aren't exactly dropping out of the attic. Other than the free games then it's hard to spot anything that stands out in this section. There used to be a £1000 free game every Monday and £250 free game each Sunday but these have now gone. It also looks as though the Big £10K that played on the 10th of each month has also been dropped. Bingo Loft do say that they offer "Free Spins & Bonuses on every wager" which we believe is like Wink's Shop. Coins are rewarded on each wager and once you've accumulated enough coins then these can be swapped for free spins, bingo, tickets or real cash. The only other stand-out offer is a player referral bonus. If you can get your friends to join you at Bingo Loft then that could bank you a £25 Friends Rewards (terms apply).
It's good to see that there could still be life in long term brands such as Bingo Loft. We're not sure if the brand is as "stand out" as a Gala or Mecca and having had Bingo House in our own stable we think "Brand Bingo" works better than "Bingo Brand". The problem for Loft and indeed every other Broadway Gaming brand isn't about names. It's the fact that the platform is light years behind Playtech, Bally's and Pragmatic Play. The platform seems intent on closing rooms as opposed to opening them. This does make it difficult for new brands to establish themselves in a difficult market. Of course we hope that Bingo Loft does well with it's new lease of life. The bingo industry needs new brands - even if they have old names - as it keeps the established sites on their toes as well as offering players much needed options.
