Lucky7 Racing Game Closes At William Hill

At the end of August William Hill announced the end of their Lucky 7 prediction game. This was a joint venture with The Racing Post and regularly offered participants the opportunity to win up to £50,000. There's no explanation for the end of the game. Visitors to the Lucky 7 website are simply greeted with a message saying "The game is now closed. We're sorry, but there will be no further games of Racing Post Lucky 7".

We can speculate that either the contract with The Racing Post expired and both parties decided that Lucky 7 wasn't working for them. Alternatively, recent changes in UKGC regulations - whereby players need to verify their credentials at registration - may have made the game harder to manage. Either way it's sad to see it go. Hopefully William Hill will look to launch a new game in the future.
The second blow comes from ComeOn Sports. They have announced that they are pulling out of The UK market towards the end of September. This decision means the end of their Premier Prediction game. This game featured Ray Parlour in the 2018/19 season. To win up to a £50 free bet players needed to predict the results of four suggested bets. This game won't be missed as much as Lucky 7 as it did require a wager in order to qualify the entry.
