Think Bingo To Move To Cozy Games

Published On 20th August 2018

August has been a busy month for brands on the old Cashcade Network. Initially we reported that ITV and Telly Talk Bingo were closing their doors. This was then followed by a similar announcement regarding Bingo Scotland. In both cases we speculated that players would be diverted to Think as was the case with Kiss My, Little Big and Graces.

However, the spotlight is now on Think Bingo. They're not closing their doors but, in a surprise move, are switching platforms. In an email sent out to players, as of the 3rd September the Think Bingo site will fall under the responsibility of ElectraWorks Limited. They will take over the operation and marketing of the site, and will offer players a new website and gaming products.

Who Are ElectraWorks Limited?

Now that may sound like mumbo jumbo to a lot of people, so what does it actually mean. Well ElectraWorks Limited is a company that's owned by GVC Holdings. GVC own Cashcade and under ElectraWorks Limited they purchased Cozy Games during 2017. Therefore, they're moving their Cashcade brand off Dragonfish and on to their own platform.

The Cozy Games platform may not be to everyone's taste, but since GVC purchased it, there have been massive changes. The depositing/withdrawal terms have dramatically improved as have the quality of the slots. Not too much has been done with respect to the bingo product but the addition of a historically big brand could give things a boost.

What About My Think Bingo Account

If you're a Think Bingo player you'll be able to sign into the new site as usual from the 3rd September. When you first login you'll be asked to consent to the migration. If you decline consent then your account will be closed and the 888 group will cash out any cash balance in your account.

At the moment (pre-3rd September) you don't actually need to do anything. Think Bingo will contact players nearer the migration. Note that players will have 180 days after the migration to login and either consent to the move or claim the cash balance.

Will Foxy Move To Cozy Games?

This move does raise some interesting questions. The Cashcade group of sites still includes Cheeky, Rollover and of course Foxy. Will the Think move now pave the way for these brands to leave the Dragonfish platform as well? It'd be understandable in the case of Rollover, but Foxy or Cheeky on Cozy Games would be a seismic move within the online bingo world.

It would make sense if Foxy, Cheeky et al follow Think to the Cozy Games platform. It would mean GVC's brands are on their own software. From a business point of view that means no fees payable to Dragonfish. If it did happen then how would players react? We'd not be surprised if Think is being used to test the water pending a similar Foxy move in 2019.

Unfortunately, Think Bingo has now closed and therefore not accepting any more players. Follow the link for alternatives to Think Bingo. #AD
