So Bingo was acquired by the Moon Bingo group (Stride Gaming, Rank etc) back in 2015. When we first reviewed the site back then we said that it's blue and pink look could do with a revamp to help transform the brand. Nothing changed for over five years but the good news is that it's finally been given a new look. The fact that it now looks like all it's sister sites (Moon, Gossip, Silk etc) is neither here nor there but at least So now looks a lot more 2022. In terms of games this Dragonfish powered brand gives players access to 75 ball and 90 ball games, plenty of slots and of course Slingo. But where does So Bingo fit in amongst the top brands? Is it worth signing up or is simply a case of "so what"!
Introducing So Bingo
It's good to report that So Bingo has finally come out of the noughties and now has a modern design. Unfortunately modern design means that it looks like countless other bingo sites that look like they've been churned out by a bored designer. Still the format of small logo, huge splash of colour highlighting the welcome offer and the remainder of the homepage being filled up with featured slots seems to work. The "So Bingo" brand is a bit of a mystery to us as we just don't get it. Is it a statement or a question? Is it short for Significant Other Bingo? Whatever it is meant to stand for it doesn't work. Still we came up with names like Snappy, Clucky and Loquax so perhaps we don't have license to comment! In better news the site is responsive for mobile, tablet and desktop. No app is needed to play on Apple and Android devices.

New players to So Bingo can claim a 300% first deposit bonus up to £100. Simply register, login and deposit between £10 and £33 to receive the bingo bonus. Wagering terms do apply. Our Verdict
If you're looking for another Dragonfish site to try - perhaps because you fancy a new welcome bonus - then So Bingo offers opportunities. Even more so if you like bingo only first deposit offers. Far too many brands are adding games bonuses into the mix and hitting players with hefty wagering terms. The biggest issue is that it hasn't got anything new or unique to offer players. For example if you've tried Moon then you're not going to get anything different here. The makeover was much needed but So could easily be called Generic Bingo and no one would care otherwise. Now that Dragonfish is in the hands of Broadway Gaming we may well see some changes to the platform - whether that improves So's standing remains to be seen.
