Bingo All Stars Reboots On Jumpman Gaming
Published On 7th January 2025
Whilst new bingo sites have been rarer than a win for Southampton in the Premier League, revamped sites or returning slots and bingo brands seem to be the flavour of the month. Dream Bingo, Sun Play, Pots of Luck, Bingo Loft, Fantastic Spins, Jazzy Spins, Slingo, Chit Chat Bingo and Spin Genie are amongst previous brands who have kickstarted themselves again in recent times. The level of success of these reboots is questionable as none of the aforementioned are picking up sticks. Dream Bingo is the perfect example of this - from exciting relaunch to closure within four months! But these setbacks obviously don't stop others trying and the latest site reboot/relaunch hoping for better success second time round is Bingo All Stars.
Celebrity Bingo!
Bingo All Stars launched in May 2020 on the then Dragonfish (now Broadway Gaming) platform. The brand hoped to stand out from the crowd with the help of celebrities including Christopher Biggins, Rustie Lee, Jean Martyn, Mr Motivator, Linda Lusardi and Russell Grant. According to the site these celebs would engage with players via chat, bingo games and by offering exciting money can't buy prizes. Whilst these prizes suggested meetings with the celebs the most exciting giveaways we saw were for Rustie Lee's Christmas cake! To be fair the brand launched during Covid - we think the launch was actually delayed due to Linda Lusardi being unwell due to the virus - but it never really got going. Rustie Lee seemed to be the only celeb involved and ultimately the site struggled for traction. The site eventually closed down in May 2023 and we concluded that "it was a good idea on paper, but in reality it just wasn't good enough". So it's a bit of surprise to see it back again!
Jumping On The Jumpman Bandwagon
The all new Bingo All Stars has launched on the Jumpman Gaming platform. The site adopts the same purple palette from it's predecessor and the celebrities - or all stars - are also featured. However this time round it looks like only Mr Motivator, Christopher Biggins, Rustie Lee and Linda Lusardi are involved. Mr Motivator does get a bit of a raw deal mind because in our browser he's cut off from the right side of the screen so you'd not know he's part of the set-up. Joining Grant and Martyn at being AWOL from Bingo All Stars 2.0 is any details about the celebrities or any reason how/why they're involved. This makes absolutely no sense! They're the unique selling point of the brand and yet there's no reference to them beyond the image on the site. Will they be doing chats? Are they offering prizes? What is the point of them being there? And let's not get started on the fact that this brand is on Jumpman which means it's just one of a huge crowd of "me too" bingo sites doing absolutely nothing unique or interesting for players.
Can It Be An A List Bingo Brand?
Biggins, Lusardi, Motivator and Lee have all been involved in online bingo - in some form or other - across the years. But are they a dream team of celebs to attract new players to bingo or encourage established bingo players to change brands? We don't think so! Live chats might be interesting but bingo players are going to have more fun and engagement with Buzz's Live Bingo product. Younger players may be more interested in reality stars from the likes of Love Island and The Traitors. Mix old school celebs together with Jumpman Gaming and there's not a lot here for to get excited about. There are no unique promotions or features and whilst the Pragmatic Play bingo product is OK, it's better utilised at Bet365, Heart and PlayOJO. We also can't overlook the high wagering terms on bonus offers, the lack of bingo promotions for new and existing players and the withdrawal fees that Jumpman implement. If you like A Lister Bingo then you're better off sticking with real A List brands such as Gala, Buzz, Mecca and Jackpotjoy.
