Has Onlinebingo.com Closed On Jumpman?

Onlinebingo.com launched in December 2021 on the Jumpman Gaming platform but just a few years later and it looks like the doors have closed. When checking the site it no longer appears to be active. Our affiliate link fails whilst if you type in the website link it actually redirects visitors to another Jumpman Gaming brand, Zeus Bingo. With such a bingo centric name - like Online Bingo - it might seem strange to see that this site has struggled to be succesful, but should we be surprised.
Uphill Battles
The first big hurdle for OnlineBingo.com is that there are other sites called Online Bingo. There's a .co version owned by Big Win Affiliates and that's also on the Jumpman platform. Way to go in making life confusing for players! In addition there's a .co.uk version with the same brand name that acts as a portal. That portal used to be owned by Lindar Media and may well still be but we're not totally sure. The site used to feature every major UK bingo brand but is now lacking in content. Anyway with different sites all having pretty much the same name that's not ideal. We used to have two sites called Prize Bingo, one was a portal and another was a bingo site, and it was confusing!
Bingo But Not Bingo
If you're going to call your bingo brand Online Bingo then what would you expect to see front and centre? Slots? Of course not but that was the case here, and indeed for pretty any Jumpman site with the word 'bingo' in it's brand name. We know that Jumpman brands do have games powered by Pragmatic Play but they're stuffed away on the back burners. When you do find the various rooms there's not alot to shout about. There are no chat rooms, no chat games, no promotions and no welcome offers that are aimed at bingo players. We know slots are the moneymakers and every operator and platform do push slots heavily, but if you're called XYZ bingo then surely it makes sense to have offers that attract players and games that are worth hanging around for. Oh and we can't ignore the fact that the same games on Jumpman can be played at PlayOJO, Heart, and Bet35 for example but players get better value in terms of promos, exclusives, wagering terms.
The Perfect Storm
Unfortunately for Onlinebingo.com and indeed pretty much every brand that's launched since 2020, bingo is a much tougher market. In fact looking through the various new additions over the last few years it's hard to spot any genuinely new bingo site (not a relaunch or platform move) that's disrupted the status quo. Gone are the days of players seeing a new site and joining it to perhaps grab a new welcome bonus and to find something exclusive. Players have settled at sites they know and trust and/or they're just not playing due to cost of living issues. Online Bingo has changed dramatically over recent years and it's current trajectory is towards a handful of brands across a handful of operators doing the minimum.
